Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Stayed with my husband and my Dad for 4 nights. My Dad has some mobility issues and I let the hotel know before. They couldn't have been more helpful, making sure we had rooms next to each other and checking all ok. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely, well equipped and clean. Excellent all round....Will book again next time we visit.

United KingdomWe drove and because it is in the heart of the old town there are weekend car restrictions, it is possible to reach the hotel you just drive through a lot of tourists , the car park is in the street you turn off to get to the hotel, they do say Hotel Acacia parking on them , if you pass them you will have to drive back down the busy streets again . The hotel give you an exemption on check in so all do able just more explanation on booking would be helpful.
Locations was excellent for sightseeing ,nice courtyard area where you can have a drink , staff were very informative, bed very comfortable.

United KingdomPrice would have felt more reasonable if breakfast was included. Otherwise no complaints. Hallway on our floor had pain coming off the walls that hadn't been fixed, cleaned.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Location is very central, everything in easy walking distance. The hotel is clean, marked down slightly as hallways were a little tired/dirty, but no issues with the room whatsoever, very clean and spacious. Breakfast was great (additional cost). We utilised on site carparking, which we booked ahead (additional cost), there are other carparks close by slightly cheaper (for 24 hours). We only spent one night but would have happily spent longer here. We travelled with a 5 & 7 year old, two single beds within the room.

United KingdomNoisy indoors. There’s some weird noise coming from the toilet (seems coming from water being sucked from the pipe). You can also hear doors banging and people walking, also can hear the sound of the lift. Minor thing - you need to pay for all beverages in the fridge including water. Usually water bottle comes free in other hotels.
Prime location, very close to the square. Lobby/reception/bar/hallway really looks cool and stylish. Staff are nice.

Great location, general standard of the hotel was fantastic. Really big room and really nice bathroom. Was a very affordable price, I don't think I've stayed anywhere as nice for this price level.

This is a fab hotel. Would defo stay here again. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with coffee, tea and mini bar. Also free Rituals toiletries. The hotel is located in the centre of the old town so close to shops bars and restaurants. But very quiet area., so no noise at night. Hotel has a bar and seating area but wasn't busy there We didn't have breakfast in the hotel restaurant as just got some pastries from supermarket at end of road and used the drinks in room.

United KingdomBecause it is literally in the centre of the town, it does get quite noisy so maybe not great if you are a light sleeper as you can hear everything going on outside, but that's what you get for the amazing location. Perfect for me!
Fantastic location, spacious room and very clean. The location is by far the best thing about the hotel and the staff were quite friendly too.
