We occupied a room on the street side. If we didn't open the window, we could not sleep because of the heat. When we opened the window, we could not sleep because of the street noise

Our room was large and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. We had an excellent breakfast, although the buffet wasn't completely ready at opening time (7:00 o'clock). I missed out on my bacon and eggs. The staff is very friendly.

Very nice Lobby and drinkbar. Nice breakfast. The room is quite big and comfy. The noise of the street not embarrassing thanks for the good quality windows. The metro station and many restaurants are only a few steps away. The city center is in walking distance.

I am not confident about the 4 star hotel when looking at the room. It has seen better days.

It was a big room, well warmed, with safe box, mini fridge and decent tv. Wifi worked good. It was clean.

Lovely quiet hotel, friendly staff, clean comfortable good sized room. Bed was comfortable. Location was good, close to midi station that was a 5 minute walk away, 10 min walk to Central Brussels. Would recommend and visit again.

I missed a table in our room because the picture said that and also bit close to the lift.

Our room was wide and comfy. The staff change our towels every day. And other thing very important, they filled the bottles soap every day as well.

It has the potential to be a nice hotel, it just needs some money spending on it. The furniture is tired and needs updating and the bath tub in my room needs re-enameling. My room and bathroom could have been done with a makeover as it felt worn and needed refreshing and didn't look like the photos on the website. The stairwell to get up and down between floors was something that they forgot to decorate as it was raw brickwork and concrete stairs with electrical appliances stored in the walk ways. Could be a fire hazard if there was an incident in the hotel. Elevators was tiny and could only get 2 or 3 people in at a time. My mattress topper wasn't big enough and kept coming off and the two pillows didn't match in size. One was square like a settee cushion. The lacquer on the wooden furniture had failed many years ago and was covered in cup stains and crayon marks.

The property was in a nice location and overall the hotel was a decent place. It's a 10 minute walk to the Midi train station and to the Grand Place square. The room was nice and big and the bathroom was too. My room had a massive double bed and it felt like it was a new mattress. Nice and firm. The Wifi was good with a decent connection. I had an electronic safe in my room which was easy to use and operate. Breakfast was decent for the money with a nice selection. The bar down stairs was nice but lacked choice. Staff was nice and friendly and very helpful.

It is a beautiful hotel with spacious bedrooms. It is centrally located on a quiet road right between the south midi station and the Grand place. The hotel offers a good breakfast but with limited choice.

Shema the man on reception was excellent. He ensured my mother and I were well looked after and even recommended us places to go in Brussels. And ensured we had a great room for our stay. Excellent service.

The shower head kept tilting at an angle which meant the floor would get soaked as the glass screen wasn’t wide enough.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was also very quiet even though we were in a room facing the street. The location was very good as it was a short walk away from the main square. Shema, who was on reception during our stay was very friendly, kind and helpful to us. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Brussels.

Parts of the room were a little tired (The toilet and so forth) and it was too hot overnight.

The welcome was very good and the chap on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. His restaurant suggestion turned out to be top notch too! Overall, considering we had no idea where to go due to Eurostar strike, we thought The Augustin was a great find.
