The usual rip off breakfast price, not sure when hotels will learn not to do this in towns where there are plenty of options

Great position in the pretty town of Bouillon, as usual pricey breakfast. But there are loads of little cafes in town to choose from

There is nothing not to like, though this is not the most parking-friendly town in summer.

This is a great small hotel with a riverside setting in a much underrated town. The restaurant is very good, to the extent that the half board option was well more than acceptable though the à la carte would have been even better. The best beer is at the Aristide on the opposite side of the river.

The flat roof outside the window towards the river took away a bit of the nice view. (Just a minor thing though.)

The hotel is perfectly located next to the river with an outside seating area on the square. Lots of restaurants in the nearby vicinity and well positioned for walks along the river. The hotel is old but well maintained and offers a cooked breakfast with a wide choice - although eggs come either scrambled or boiled. Overall the hotel is good value particularly if you book early

No residents lounge or cosy area to sit, only the bar area where you felt obliged to order a drink. Dim lighting in the garage. Creaky floorboards - I was conscious that my walking around in my bedroom may cause noise to the guests in the room beneath.

They welcomed four rather wet motorcyclists. The location was excellent, right on the river and in the centre of town. Good garage space.

The roundabout exit to the parking is unequal, which the bottom of the Maserati didn't really like :(

Wonderfull breakfast location at the river side. And giving clear advice that free parking was available on the other side of the river (also 100 places where free if you went more upstream).

Bathroom was really too small, sink had been hit by heavy weight and had scar. Hot water temperature too variable. TV programs mixed, not ordered as on the list. Due to snow melting, the drops fell on the windows frame and waked us at 5 am. But these are small details that do not hinder the total experience.

    Charm, service, cleanness.

About the location, only thing that bothered, was the roadwork just near the hotel. Bathroom was old fashioned, shower didn't work properly. Hallways shabby.

The location was good, near everything. We had a standard room, so can't complain. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room/restaurant was beautiful.

The food of the dinner wasn't our cup of tea. But that's in general in the hotels we've been to in Belgium. Strange things on the menu and nothing international.

The standard room is definitely not worth the price and it does not rank as a four stars - no minibar, cheap toiletries, no slippers (the floor was cold during fall). You would expect higher quality from a four stars hotel in a small town. Disappointing

Whilst the overall hotel was good, we found a senior member of staff working at full gallop and prone to making mistakes. This particular person was the female personification of Basil Fawlty. Also a card access facility for entry into the car park failed to operate, which was very frustrating as I have a minor disability and I had to walk backwards and forwards a number of times to the hotel reception to get someone to eventually open the garage. Card reader did not work until he following morning.

The hotel is situated in the center of the town alongside the river. The room we had was comfortable, with a Juliet balcony and a view of the river. There is an underground car park but no access directly to the hotel from it so luggage is best unloaded before parking. There is a lift with a few steps up to it. There was no airconditioning in the room , the beds were comfortable but high, so not easily acceptable for less tall people. Breakfast was good and we ate in the restaurant, the food was good , however the service was unacceptable, this may have been due to the particular individual who was standing in for the Maitre'd on the night we ate there, her approach to customer satisfaction was of the Basil Fawlty school , however other members of the hotel staff elsewhere were pleasant and efficient.

Minor niggles: on a hot night requiring ventilation from open windows, it would have been better to avoid the river-side rooms because of the noise (but the view was great...); no extractor fan in the bathroom so it got very steamy; rather creaky floorboards in the room (nice to look at, but not to listen to); strange water leak from the shower tap.

Friendly and attentive staff; great quality breakfast, and a great dinner when we ate in the restaurant. Parking is convenient. Central location meant everything was in reach for us on foot (or on our bikes) once we were there. Overall, a really pleasant stay.

The room I was in had very poor insulation. During the night I could hear my neighbors walking as they were in my room. Because of its location, the hotel is in a noisy area with lots of traffic and therefore it is not very comfortable to keep windows open. Breakfast is minimal, with very little fresh vegetables,

The hotel is located in the center close to all interest points. It is hosted in a very nice old but renovated building. The breakfast/dining room is very stylish. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. At breakfast you can squeeze your own fresh orange juice.

The only criticism I have of the hotel is that the shower was dangerous to use. scolding hot water squirting out of every join in the fittings was no fun and the pipework itself was very hot !! I reported it to reception when checking out and was told that 'showers' are a regular issue in a number of rooms. Poor quality fittings seems to be the cause.

The room and restaurant were superb. The secure car park is expensive when overnight on-street parking is safe and free.

My high expectations relating to the Hotel de la Poste - Relais de Napoleon III were more than fulfilled during our 4-night visit in March 2017. This lovely old hotel is well maintained and chock full of interesting curios and objects d’art. The included buffet-style breakfast is superb. There must have been a dozen breads and pastries from which to choose as well as freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of fresh fruit. Scrambled eggs and bacon are offered too. Breakfast was a gut-stuffing experience. The room was spacious, but overlooked a town street instead of the Semois River. I should have booked earlier to get a room with a river view. The staff were uniformly efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Every request was accommodated with speed and grace. We would be delighted to stay here again.

The shower system with bath was not briiliant with water leaking from joints. You would expect at the very least a bottle of water in the room in a 4 star hotel. There is just a shower gel in the bath room. The silicon on the bath needs redoing as it is discoloured. On arrival we found a sock left under the bed from a previous customer which leads one to think about how well the rooms are cleaned. To be honest I would expect better from a 4 star Hotel !

It was the cheapest room that was available but still feedback... The breakfast lady (I guess she is the most senior one) that hoovers around the orange juice machine should get some training is politeness and guest services. If the machine is not the right thing, please just buy fresh juice and serve it at the table. I know your food cost will go up but charge then more.
