Where do I start? This is certainly not a 4 star hotel. - bad smell in public areas - we were told on arrival (not beforehand) the spa was out of use, annoying as we planned on using it - room was small, dark, hot and stuffy - had to sleep with windows open and were kept awake until past 2am, due to noise from traffic outside - could hear other guests moving around and talking upstairs and next door - mattress was poor quality - bad smell coming from drains outside and in the bathroom in the morning - very dated decor and furnishings

Service was good. Location great if you want central hotel. Towels and bedding good quality. View of castle from hotel window was lovely.

The hotel was too old fashioned. It wasn't really value for money. Especially when you expect the standards of the Hotel Haut where I stayed a year ago.

    The restaurant and the menu.

Evening meal was a little pricey - but the food was amazing, so this is only an observation.

Room was huge, well appointed and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Absolutely great place to stay, in a great location and with lots to see and do.

Nice restaurant and great breakfast. Most of the staff was very nice. Rooms were clean with very good beds !

Quite old and very poor breakfast except for fresh orange juice. The place needs heavy renovation. It is currently not a 4 star hotel.

    Very good location

No air-conditioning, quite warm in the night. (June) Our room was on the ground floor right on the street, so people are passing by the windows. If we want to close the blind, then the window cannot be opened.

    - Good breakfast - Friendly staff - Good location, right in the center

The design of the room was not as good as expected - I don't like black walls. There was no vegetables on the breakfast (some tomatoes or olives would be good).

nice location and view. Nice walking areas nearby. Nice city at all. Really good breakfast.

Like a lot of places in the Ardennes, the hotel as no air conditioning in the rooms, and it gets too hot in the summer. As you are in the middle of nature, when you open one window, a lot of bugs, specially flys, want to share the room with you! Annoying!!!

Very nice hotel, with comfort rooms and very nice, helpful staff. Breakfast is quite varied and with good quality products.

The only thing which was a problem was that the town including the hotel was shut on Wednesday. It was very difficult to find a restaurant. After 7pm all the facilities in the hotel were shut. This included the reception, the bar, the restaurant and the lounge. The only thing that we could access was the room. It was really difficult to find anywhere else in the town to eat.

The breakfast was delicious. We had a very comfortable room which even had a sofa. The accommodation was very clean.

Bathroom very small - climb over toilet to get into bath! The halls and bedrooms smelt of cooking because the hallway from the kitchen to the rooms is not closed, pity as rather sickening stench. The hotel dining room also rather smelly, carpets? kitchen smells

Room perhaps a little bit small

Well located in the centre of Durbuy and at the same time somewhat remote from the tourist stream, this hotel offered us a calm sojourn of some days in this beautiful little town. A nice and very clean small room, well equipped and with high quality bedding and bathroom towels added values for a good stay. Good breakfast made us well starting the day. We also appreciated the restaurant compared with other so-called good restaurants in Durbuy. We didn’t try all, but “Jean de Boehme” gave us the best satisfaction: food quality, preparation and taste of dishes, presentation. Excellent service.

Old and not anymore to the standards you would expect for a 4 star hotel, at 200€ for a night. Room and bathroom small.
