Absolutely satisfying experience in this hotel. Very friendly staff, from the front desk and the breakfast guy, to the housekeeping and especially the general manager, who gave me a very welcoming vibe. Everything in this hotel seemed perfect and almost didn't wanna leave, even though it's not really a low-budget hotel. Thanks to everyone for this great experience, including the other guests.

The room was a little warm during the night, wasn’t sure if it was possible to manually adjust the temperature. After partying at the carnaval I was too tired to look for it.

Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Bed was pretty comfortable, nice and neat. Excellent bathroom with a big walk in shower..also very good idea with the roomkey to save energy while not present in the room.

Minor downside was the lack of hairconditioner in the room, and the walls are quite thin in the hotel, so you can hear noise from the hallway and other rooms. Hotel bar was good, but quite expensive for basic drinks.

Located in the city centre of Aalst, breakfast was quite nice with a good variety and fresh-pressed juice. The bed is comfortable and the room was quite spacious and clean. Staff also allowed me to check in early as I arrived before noon.

The 115v and 220v in the bathroom did not work.

I booked many hotels while on vacation to Belgium, but Keizershof Hotel Aalst was by far the most impressive. The lightings were plenty, bed comfortable, everything in the room was clean. The room design was modern but also not too weird. The staff went above and beyond to help me locate a restaurant. Enuela thank you! And as personal bonus; the room had plenty of electrical outlet plug in conveniently placed.

Hard to fault. I was surprised the ham slices and cheese were in individual plastic wrappers.

I got a warm welcome as soon as I walked through the door which set the tone for the stay. I learned it's a family run hotel where the owner is the manager and is invested in making sure everything is just right. The rooms have recently been refurbished and the bed was very comfortable, the room quiet. Bathroom had heated a mirror - a nice touch and walk in rain shower. The nespresso coffee machine was a welcome addition. I drank in the bar in the evening and had nice conversations with the staff discussing life in Belgium, beers, gins and putting the world to rights. The bar prices were in line with other bars and restaurants which I thought very fair. Often they over inflate and you feel ripped off. The breakfast had a modest selection a little of everything but had a good breakfast. Some hot things, cold cuts, a few cereals, fresh bread, croissant and pastries (freshly baked and crispy). The freshly squeezed orange juice was great. The location was perfect for walking to local bars and restaurants and only 10 minutes from the rails station. It gets booked up in the week with business travellers, but weekends are usually free. Aalst itself is quite attractive with a clean, pedestrianised centre, many cafés with on street seating, great bars. It would also be a great base to visit Ghent and Brussels by train. I'd stay here again.

I was asked on arrival on my motorcycle if I'd like parking in underground carpark. Of course I said yes please. Only to find out next day when leaving I had to pay €16.50! I was not impressed with that to say the least.
