This hotel is a step son of the proper hotel. It's a separate building without even staff. But the rooms were clean and ok. But there is a 10 mins walk from proper hotel to here and they didn't even care to give a shuttle in the rain with luggage.

The main hotel was superb and great breakfast. Great location too in front of the lake.

I forgot my belt (on the sofa) in the room after the check-out, but the hotel could not recover it unfortunately

We booked a room in the Manoir, but received one in the Manoir. Nice location, at the borders of the lake

Feather pillows only and both have allergies. No lifts and no help with heavy suitcases. Not clear whether the refreshments in the hall were for everyone’s use and no guest information to tell us. Long walk to main hotel for breakfast and then back uphill. Was not clear when we booked.

Spacious bedroom with view over the garden. Comfortable bed.

The rooms and corridors are rather 'tired', but a phased refurbishment seems to be under way.

Excellent breakfast buffet, with good choice of prepared fresh fruit, great breads, fresh fruit juices, cooked breakfasts, cereals (and sparkling wine at Christmas!). Good views out over the lake.

No elevator to get to the top floor. For people with heart condition, it is a problem.

Very quiet place, clean and the little snacks and coffee and tea and juice on the first floor, so we did not have to walk away to get something. Close to the train station.

Arriving late at night at the Manior. Ringing the doorbel, nobody answers. Then call a phonenumber from a sign next to the door. Being told to have to go back down to the chateau to check in. Would have been nice that this would have been in my reservation confirmation upfront. Did receive a big email regarding upgrades etc, but this would have been useful information.

We really love coming to Manoir as in a good way it doesn't seem like a hotel but a beautiful home surrounded by nature. All elegant and clean, our room was very spacious and with windows overlooking the garden and a little bit of the lake. A place to come back.

    Nothing!

Like many others, we were upgraded to the Chateau du Lac, so this review is for the Chateau rather than Martin's Manoir. Best run hotel! Front desk staff most helpful, friendly and competent. Best maid service! Wonderful breakfast staff and one of the best breakfast selections we have ever seen. Great room with a very nice view of the lake. We can't wait to stay here again on our next trip to Belgium.

Not keen on shower curtains, prefer a shower screen, but that is just being fussy. Could do with an extractor fan in the bathroom.

The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly. The lakeside setting is beautiful. We were booked into Martin Manoir which is connected to Chateux de lac. On checking in the receptionist said we could stay in Chateux de lac which we chose to do.

Workmen were downstairs hammering and creating a lot of noise in the room below mine until 10:30pm Saturday night. I called the desk and was told that the work would stop by 9:00pm, but it continued until 10:30. At least Sunday was quiet. The hotel staff was apologetic, but they should not have allowed work running so late.

Lovely location by the lake. The breakfast was amazingly good. Room was comfortable.

It is stupid to have to (1) reload your bags, (2) drive to another hotel, (3) do the check in there and (4) drive back to the Manoir to access the room. Just imagine the horror if you were dropped there by a taxi that has left?!? The wifi cuts off too often in the manoir.
