There was no coffee, tea facilities on the room. Also there was no shower just bath tab which made it bit difficult to have a quick shower. The room was not to the same standard of the hotel which was amazing.

The hostess in the restaurant was rather unpleasant towards us. She started talking to us in French and we then replied to her in both English and Dutch that we don't speak French and didn't understand her. She raised her voice asking " "Drink, drink?". We only found out during the check-out that the Sunday brunch was included in the price; it wasn't mentioned at all during check-in. Our room was smelling of ammonia, smell was at times overwhelming, especially when you open the door and enter into the room. Furniture in the room is old, worn out and with visible damages. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Our room had a great view. Some staff members attempted to talk to us in Dutch and/or English.

Old room with creaking wooden floor underneath an old carpet. No sound-proofing at all so we could hear our neighbors talk.

Very friendly staff and good location (though the city is so small that it doesn't matter)

I was in a standard double room. The space was by far too small, and I think the room was renovated more than 20 years ago. The bathroom had an old bathtube, but no glass nor a curtain for showering, so it was extremely uncomfortable. The wifi was not reliable at all (you would get disconnected once every couple of minutes) and the days I was there the phone did not work.

The hotel is situated in a lovely spot, right on the main square of Durbuy. The building is very nice, and common areas are well maintained. The "Brasserie Fred", one of the restaurants of the hotel, offers high quality meals for a competitive price compared to the other restaurants in the area.

The large lounge was terrible and not useable as there were people smoking very smelly cigarettes and pipes, right by the door, so you choked going in. It would be good if this was stopped so all guests could enjoy the facilities without suffering.

Central location, lovely large and comfortable bedroom in the older part of the building with a view of the river, great character building, excellent restaurant, great bar area, very friendly and helpful staff.

The tiny road access leading to the private parking is really unacceptably bad as the road is in very bad condition and damaged my car which has low but stock suspension height. Was going down at 0.1km/h and still scraped the road.

    Excellent location. Great service.

Room was cold ( near jacuzzi - door leading to exterior ). As we were located on the roof we had constant noise from other guests shouting over the noise of the spa bath. Room needed a good clean, was very dusty. Room needed to be repainted, was shabby. During our stay we were never asked by a staff member if everything was ok. I had the impression that the hotel was neglected and staff were indifferent.

    The location. The breakfast.
