The place is unique and quirky (which we love!). The room was a great size, it had a great bathtub (not common in my stays in Europe) and it was just off our route close to a cute town. We signed up for breakfast after reading great reviews and it didn't disappoint. Lovely fresh bread, sliced meat, delicious french and local cheeses, some pastries, eggs and pot of tea/coffee. AND dog friendly!

We had a lovely stay. The location is great, very easy to travel to Bruges and Ghent whilst being in a more peaceful area. The room was quiet, very clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. It was a lovely touch to be able to try some local produce whilst sitting in the terrace overlooking farmland. Ingrid was very helpful giving recommendations with things to see in Bruges, where to park and offering drinks on arrival. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend. Thank you!

The bathtub was not always hot. I guess too many people wanted to use their spa facilities at once. The stairs to our room were VERY steep which can be a problem for older people/dogs.

The lady of the hotel was most friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The ambiance of the entry and dining area is wonderful with many objects of interest. The hotel grounds are lovely and there is a lake nearby with a good walking track.

Only minuses the lack of AC in the room and some of the breakfast fruit was not quite fresh, also could offer more veggies, otherwise large choice

the room was heating up a bit. There was a good AC in the room, yet it would have been nice to also have lighter bedcovers for the warm nights.

Everything was wonderful - the hotel had beautiful details no matter where you looked. It felt homey. The breakfast was delicious and special with many homemade items. Pate and meat-n-jelly were to die for! We stayed in the Clockmakers room which was very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy. We enjoyed some wine in the backyard and took a stroll to a nearby lake. We only spent one night there, it was not enough time! :) Hope to be back again sometime and to learn about the history of the home and the owners.

Nothing to mind

Location was in the country and yes there were cows grazing in the field while we ate a delicious breakfast with local cheeses and home made breads and smoked salmon as well as home cured bacon with the scrambled eggs. A good variety teas and coffees. The evening meal was a based on fish in a lots of different ways. We had John Dory with Hollandaise sauce with potatoes carrot mix and creamy cabbage. The dessert was a choice of chocolate mouse and cream brûlée and something else with coffee and mints . A deep sleep was had in a King sized bed and a refreshing shower with hot water to wake up to. A good stop to end our break

Only a friendly remark: The landlady should tell in advance what can be expected taking the breakfast. She did, but i missed the eggs because already i already had homemade bread, ham, cheese and marmelade.

Friendly reception by Flemish lady on a kind of farm like place in Flanders. Excellent breakfast with a lot to choose from. Normally we dont take it, but this is not to miss. Nice big room.

a reformed farm a with beautiful structure and natural surroundings. Super friendly and professional staff, with a passion for the sector. lots of decoration details that belong perfectly in the atmosphere of the hotel. Good parking facilities. You find a little attention in the room when you get in. very quiet place

Having paid via Booking.com in advance, I was charged 20 euros when departing for "the dog and parking". While these may be reasonable fees, I wasn't made aware of them when I booked (and I particularly wrote to them to ask about the dog), nor was I advised of the fees when I checked in. Therefore I had the impression that they were a somewhat arbitrary addition.

The breakfast was a classic farm foods, most of it produced locally, and it was delicious.
