We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

MaltaThe only small inconvenience is that since it's an apartment and there is no reception then we had no place to leave luggage (but managed to store them in Gare du midi lockers). Check out time is also a bit early
Apartment is modern and very clean. You have everything you need like soap, coffee, cooking utensils, towels etc. Just no Ac but it was not required for our stay

SlovakiaIt would be nice if it were warmer in the apartment, but that is a personal preference. The walls are very thin and you can hear almost everything - the neighbors.
We have a very pleasant stay here and the apartment was really clean. We were very satisfied that the apartment is within walking distance of the Forest National and that it is in a nice location. Apartment was well equipped.

Czech RepublicThe apartment is a little bit small, but for 2 nights with children it was absolutely ok.
The host was very helpful, we coud move to the apartment earlier, because we had luggage and we wanted to go to the city, he replied asap to all messages. The apartmernt was relatively close to the city centre, 20 min by bus to train and bus station. Very safe and good looking neighbourhood.

AlbaniaI had a very pleasant stay in Brussels. The place was clean and comfortable, and conveniently located near bus stops that easily got me to the city center. It was also very close to Forest National, which was perfect since I had tickets for two concerts there. The hosts were responsive and very, very helpful, always ready to extend an extra courtesy. I'd recommend it.

Kevin our host is so pleasant and helpful (and fast). The apartment is clean and minimalistic but comfortable. We didn't find the box with the key because somebody opened the building door for us, and Kevin brought the key in a minute.

I loved everything! The property is located in a nice and quiet area. Very clean apartment and everything looked like new, the furniture, the kitchen equipment, bathroom, toilet, etc. the Host was very nice and supportive, provided very detailed instructions on how to get to the location and how to access the apartment, making it so easy to go there. Also, a very nice welcome surprise! Thank you for that dear Host and for being so thoughtful! I found there everything I could need, I really felt like home. What could anyone wish for more, than feeling like home...
