Breakfast was OK but was very carbohydrate focussed. I was offered some cooked eggs which I am not able to eat and there did not seem to be another cooked option available to me. I did have some nice local break with ham and cheese but not sure this really represented value for money when considering the price.

Great central location in the town. My room was clean, spacious and nice and quiet at the back of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The restaurant next door was also great for a quick informal dinner with plenty to choose from on the menu. The hotel was less than 10 minutes walk from the rail station

1) The hotel has just 1 pressing iron, I'm attending a wedding, I couldn't iron my shirt and suit because someone else was using the iron. It was sad for a 4 star hotel 2) parking was a problem, a 4 star hotel with no parking. I have to take 45mins before parking very far from the hotel

Unsure where to park (for free) in area. No clear instructions on the key card as what to do when you arrive late and need entry to your room (but there's a bell! It's loud but someone will let you in).

The cleaning wasn't great, I had to ask a few times to clean things again. Some of the furniture in my room wasn't in the best condition.

It has a very central location at La Louvière, Very walkable. The hotel staff were kind and helpful.

The carpet floor is a not the tidiest one, but overall cleanliness is good.

Breakfast is delicious with vast variety of foods, also local (pain au chocolat, chocolate mousse, etc) The bed us super comfortable and staff is very kind, very helpful. Recommended

Check was very quick, staff spoke English and were extremly helpful, breakfast was served in my room at the time at the time I asked, perfect service. Resterant next door serves decent food at a very fair price. One note if taking a car park in the street first then get ticket from hotel for qpark underground carpark in the town square, you will only have to pay the hotel charge then not an extra hour to qpark.

The doors to the rooms slam shut hard, making the wall shake and in my case with my room the bed was against this wall. So not quiet or soundproofed. But to be fair, no hotel ever is. Breakfast was nothing special but never is in France or Belgium, these people hate breakfast more than anything. The carpets in hallways are freaky. I'm not sure if I like or dislike them :)

Supernice staff, cyclist friendly hotel, bike in your room and an elevator that fits all of your bike. Good sized room and really comfortable bed.

problems with the heating in one of the rooms, but this was dealt with efficiently by the staff on duty. also it takes ages (a really long time) for the hot water to get through (perhaps only a problem with some of the rooms) but when it did arrive, it was lovely and the shower was strong.

cool receptiondesk on arrival; nowhere to sit outside in the hotel; no national dutch-speaking stations on television; location is easy to get to/from but La Louvière is perhaps not the most touristy place to go to in COVID times (we visited Royal Museum of Mariemont at 5 km distance and the new Keramis / Boch museum at 10 minutes walking from the hotel)

Strong smell of tobacco in the room. I sneezed through the night due to the strong smell and sense of dust in the carpets. The carpets need a proper deep cleaning. There is no outdoor window for fresh air. The window led to a patio with visibility to other rooms and lobby area. Air-conditioning not working...room was extremely hot
