Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFrom the moment I booked panic set in that the room wasn't booked. Emails from the company insinuating that my booking was confirmed but not paid for. I wanted to do this within days of booking but when I emailed I received no reply and I tried numerous times. Even booking dot com tried for me and had no response. I was able to check in a few weeks before which eased my mind a little. 24 hours before I received an email advising they needed an authorisation form completed to take the payment but it was already showing from my bank account. I completed the form and sent back adding that payment was already processing and hoping it wouldn't be taken twice. My previous non communication didn't hold out much hope. After that first email I proceeded to received the same email every 20 minutes for 24 hours. I emailed 4 times to advise the IT issue eventually receiving 2 responses on arrival to the hotel. There were 2 other guests who arrived during my stay who struggled to check in as there were no staff on duty and no one was there when I checked out on Sunday. I would have liked to leave my bag for a couple of hours before my flight home like I did last time but no luck. Despite many signs there was clearly someone smoking in their room, the hallway stank of stale smoke. Despite all this I will be booking again next year as I've got so much more to explore and the Diamond League Athletics final is being held there in September!
This is the second time I've stayed here, booked for its location close to the stadium to watch the Diamond League Athletics. It's close to a supermarket and small shopping area. There's a restaurant next door with decent evening food and a short walk to the metro which takes you into the city centre. The rooms are spacious but basic. Plenty of storage space and decent bathroom. Good value for money and checked in quickly but I don't know if it helped that I'd done it before.

PolandNo aircondition. It was hot as hell and it was just June. The window could be opened toward some terrace. Anyone could get in if open wide and easily opened if open-half. Maybe for winter it could be fine.

HungaryThe mattress should be replaced, as there was a significant dip in it.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, in a quiet street easily accessible from the ring road. The Atomium is just a few minutes away. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room and the bathroom were clean and well-equipped. Coffee and tea were provided.

BelgiumThey don't come in for a clean everyday and when asked it wasn't possible as it wasn't linen day. TV and such don't work although they did state that they were upgrading the hotel for better facilities.
For a quick in and out trip this is a good stay. As the location's name says it itself "Sleep and Go". Not too far from Brussels main attractions and an easy way into the city with public transport.

United KingdomLovely spacious rooms, lots of vending machines for snacks & drinks. We did stay at a time the rooms were sold out but it was very noisy - you can hear everything from people going down corridors and just being loud in adjacent rooms. Take earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

United KingdomParking had confirmed vehicle size but my reserved parking wasn't high enough. 1st night very helpful receptionist gave up his space. 2nd night little to no road parking available so spent 40 mins driving around after a 12 hr day at Expo which was tiring. 3rd night parking was available on forecourt. Pillow needed to be nicer quality as it was overwashed, thin and lumpy. No milk provided with only one sachet of instant coffee for 3 night stay. Only 2 tv channels available in dutch language and remote had to be replaced, which was done promptly. A nice coffee machine in reception would have been nice. Shower didn't work, had to use slow filling bath.

IrelandThe property had said that there is option to get breakfast and we can confirm it upon arrival. But upon arrival when we asked to get breakfast for the following morning, we were denied saying it is too short notice to prepare now. The lady managing the breakfast was very rude and unprofessional.

GermanyThe bed was too soft and the carpet in the room has to be exchanged. The hotel is in renovation, in first floor they have exchanged that, the renovation takes place during the day, when the hotel is not so busy. The hotel is near the airport of Brussels-Zaventem, I did not mind, There was not much noise from planes. I did not find out if there is a night bus to Strombeek-Bever. There are no bakeries or so nearby in order to eat a small breakfast on the way to public transport.
I could see the Atomium from the Room. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Flemish Brabant (Strombeek- Bever) in walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the Brussels tramway station Esplanade. Magnolia trees everywhere flowering. In walking distance ( about 7,5 minutes) is a bus stop with direct connection to Thurn & Taxis buildings via Laeken. I have been here once, when I had an event at Brussels Expo, a larger walk of 25 minutes. Till now, there are parking spaces without cost or reservation for the inhabitants in the streets nearby. Several house had protest signs against new traffic management of Strombeek-Bever, I did not find out, what will be changed. The Brussels motorway ring can be reached within five minutes if there is no traffic jam.
