WiFi/ Internet was a little hard to get onto but perhaps it was a sign to enjoy the surroundings and facilities.

The pool and spa features when advertised on booking.com don’t make it obvious that a the pool is seasonal only open from May onwards, part of that is on me for not reviewing the fine print. Secondly after it being advertised that there are spa features eg a convenient sauna and hot tub style bath in the room, you do in fact have to pay extra for the privilege at €50 and €25 euros respectively.

The hosts are amazing, good knowledge of things to do in the local area, really good breakfast, lovely rooms bathrooms etc.

People who run the place are very nice, kind and helped us with everything. Amazing breakfast! And I liked that we were encouraged to take with us what we haven’t finished to eat later, because the food was great and it should not be wasted. The place itself is very warm and cosy, and had everything we needed. And it’s located in a very quiet area, no noise has bothered us neither at night and during the day.

We enjoyed an extremely comfortable stay here. The pool is a lovely attraction, especially for our kids. Breakfast is exceptional - a wide assortment of fresh and homemade food, including an invitation to make a sandwich for lunch. Everybody is extremely generous and welcoming - and we had a good meal too in the nearby village. We would certainly come back!

The jacuzzi needed a deep cleaning. I wish it’s always accessible to use the kitchen especially for those who prefer to prepare their own food. However Pieter assisted us and let us use the micro which is very big plus 🥰

It’s close to the nature and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The wellness is superb. They offered huge variety of food for breakfast and you can have some takeout from the leftovers for lunch pack.

It’s a refurbished property. Absolutely stunning. Area away from traffic and noises. You will walk through a wooden gate and you will find yourself in a courtyard with a central fountain running. At the back there is the owner residence and in the left the rooms. The room was clean with a large and comfortable bed, a soft bench, fire place running, mini bar fridge with wine and bubbles, loo in the room separate from the gorgeous jacuzzi, sauna and rain shower. The owner will give you some eucalyptus liquid to use in the sauna. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic. You will be seated in the homestead dining room surrounded by exquisite pieces of furniture and pictures on the walls recalling the function of the room. The collection of beautiful vintage plates you will have breakfast served in is very lovely. A quite a various collection of vintage pieces around to observe and enjoy if that is your thing. Definitely ours.

The location is a bit far from everything, Good to take into account in terms of driving time to places. The beds are a bit too soft for my preference

Beautiful apartment and complex. The host is extremely nice and helpful. She went a long way to make us feel comfortable, and to provide Gluten Free breakfast to my kid that has an allergy. Nice bubbles bath tub in the room.

The location is in the middle of nowhere. Of course you need a car to get there and to go for dinner or sightseeing. It's not so bad in general if you just want to relax. But if you're coming with a kid, it's going to be boring there and you will need to explore.

The breakfast was a buffet and it was plentiful and quite good but not the best to my liking. The service and hosts were exceptional! The outdoor swimming pool is very nice and there is a lawn around it where you can chill. The spa is really good, we went there specifically for sauna and enjoyed it.

In the hotel, there really wasn't anything I did not like. There were public works in the street (glass fibre cables being laid), obviously completely outside the control of the hotel.

The room was large, tastefully decorated and very functional. Swiss DREAM bed ! Great shower AND Spa bath ! All in a very calm setting, surrounded by nature. Breakfast was excellent & abundant: - really very tasteful selection of pastry & bread (also various spreads); - nice variety of meats & cheese; - delicious fresh fruit salad and fruit juices.

Lovely location, beautiful rooms, extremely clean and comfortable. Service was second to none and we felt extremely comfortable and enjoyed a lovely relaxing evening on our return home from our European mini tour. A lovely breakfast with so much choice. We will be back in June and looking forward to seeing you again!!!

In the junior suite the toilet is separate from the main bathroom, both of which are downstairs so slightly inconvenient when sleeping upstairs. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor opening out onto the stairs so you get a lovely view of the beams and roof but not much privacy/quiet from the rest of the suite as it all feels like one big room. But these are not huge inconveniences and on balance are outweighed by all the benefits mentioned above. We would have stayed another night if it hadn't already been booked!

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities in the junior suite. The fireplace was a lovely touch. Spa was delightful. Breakfast in our suite was excellent. Came away feeling truly relaxed. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
