We loved it! The place is authentic, well taken care of, located in the centre of the village and comfortable to reach. The rooms were perfectly equipped and in traditional style. The lady that welcomed us was very friendly, helpful and was a brilliant company. Kovachevitsa is a magical place, one of a kind, we will definitely be coming back and staying in the Bazoteva House again. 10/10, I recommend and already miss it! ❤️

Friendly hosts, very warm cozy and comfortable apartment. The jacuzzi and sauna were an amazing asset which we enjoyed very much. The house is located at the very center of the village and has a stunning view from the front deck.

12lev breakfast is way too much for what it is (despite the context of location and tourist town). Recommend going to a restaurant. IMPORTANT: location on Google is not correct, but it is on Maps.me.

Comfortable bed, extra blankets in the room and very cosy living / dining area with a fire. Very enjoyable for one night. No English but with Google translate the key information can be relayed and the host is very welcoming.

there is actually nothing I did not like. I could even think of anything no matter how hard I try to find one. I would recommend how every - put some night lights in the stairs or just have a flash in hand. Some people like to have night walks.

For a very long time I have not been in a place where the hosts had such a welcome attitude towards their guest. With the friendly long forgotten friendly, smiling and peaceful reaction towards all guests, with all the options - like quiet area, with home made food and dances, you feel like a long long places - where everything is simple, yet in a way modern you just feel that you don't want to leave and start making plans to come again.

The hostess was very friendly and thoughtful. We were arriving late due to a mistake of our navigation and she even went to one of the local restaurants to ask them to keep the kitchen open longer for us. Rooms were clean and we slept very good in the beds there. Tipp for anyone without a SUV: do not take the mountain road that google maps suggests. The road is very bad go around.

I wish there were complimentary toiletries included. The tv was very small, but we never came to use it, and there is already plenty to do and see outside in the town.

Extremely friendly and welcoming hostess, always ready to help. The house is authentic and beautiful. The beds are probably the most comfortable ones ever. The town is one of a kind, like you've travelled back in time. Very safe town with very friendly people.

You can definately hear everything from the other rooms (some snoring guy kept me from sleeping all night). Also the pillows were not at all comfy but that's a rather personal preference.

Traditional house with lovely common spaces. The host is super nice and friendly, helps their guests in any way possible. The breakfast is delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bazoteva house. The hosts were just outstanding, they had a personal attitude towards every guest and did their best to satisfy everyone's needs and desires. The house is old, but preserved, it was clean, we had a comfortable stay and the village where it is situated is simply fantastic with old houses all in a similar style and rocky roads, we just got back in time.

Little things like car parking in the sun.

An amazing renovated yet authentic old house from the beginning of 19th century with a welcoming host and great facilities. In harmony with the whole village and the surroundings it offers a warm stay in a traditional atmosphere. Excellent for a short or a long stay. A lot of possibilities to explore around, enjoy the traditional atmosphere of the village, the food and admire Nature's beauty in the surrounding mountain.

People above us had a dog that was running around and we could hear it very loudly People smoking inside the enclosed bar dining area No breakfast options provided as it had been on a previous visit so that was missed Room smelt a bit smokey and musty Shower head located right above the toilet Main doors were a bit hard to open and close

Loved staying in the old style rooms. Double spa was great it would have been nice to also use the sauna if it was cooler. Owner was very nice, available to help with any problems straight away Very relaxing laying in the hammock at sunset

Is the most expensive hotel we paid in Bulgaria and it felt like too much for what is offer.
