Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. It would have been great if the shower and the toilet had more privacy as being a family of four it was changing.
Staying at the apartment felt like being at home. We had access to veranda with couch with pillows and a nice garden table where you could have your coffee or a glass of wine.

There isn’t anything negative.
The hotel has a perfect location just in front of the main walking street. We stayed at two apartments which were very specious, comfortable and looked like brand new. Everything is well maintained and hosts are very polite and responsive. We arrived by 3 cars and they advised us where to park without any problems. We stayed just for one night but definitely next time would like to spend more time there. I’d recommend the place 100%.

A well positioned location with a walking area nearby. The apartment is spacious, usefully equipped and in very good condition. The hosts are kind and available to help you I recommend this accommodation

Convenient location with many options for restaurant and bars. Our apartmant was cozy, very clean, look like new, very comfortable beds. Polite host who make sure we feel comfortable through our stay.

Lovely and charming hotel with incomparable atmosphere due to the monument of culture building it is situated in. Well furnished, very clean, with attention to detail you rarely see in hotels of its category and in this location. Would recommend to anyone.

The host was very kind to meet us even though our arrival was quite late. The apartment was perfectly clean, cozy and well designed. The location is central, right next to a pedestrian street and close to shops and supermarkets. We are highly recommending VIP apart house apartments!

The lobby has a little sewer and a stale stench.
The location is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are obviously new and tidy. We adored the shared deck; it is so cosy and quiet.

The TVs in neither of the rooms worked which was an unpleasant surprise. The hosts apologised for the inconvenience.
Great finish of the interior. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything you need. We only stayed one night. Proximity to a nice restaurant was great.

Nothing to complain about.
Very ,very clean. New and modern furniture, all arranged with taste and love to the detail. Location is very convenient for a walk throughout the central area with many restaurants and bars. Parking was not problem. The staff was polite although we were late. Highly recommendable place to stay!👍

The kitchen was not equipped at all. We only had glasses and cups. It was not a big deal since we stayed for only one night, but since we were travelling with a baby, having a kitchen was an important requirement, but we managed since we had our own pot for his food.
Very convenient location, in the city centre, close to a street on which you can easily find parking. The apartment was huge and very clean, the beds very comfortable and the design was very pleasant. We also loved the terrace of this apartment. .

Parking can be a little troublesome but manageable.
The property was in a good location on the main walking street in the center of town, close to a good restaurant, very well maintained and cleaned to high standards, and the staff were professional and accommodating.

The apartment has a very central location and is very well equipped. The furniture is new and everything is very clean. The kitchenette has all the required utensils. There is a nice restaurant just across the street.

The hosts were wonderful. Very attentive to our needs. Parking was complicated but always available as I was driving a 15 passenger van and had to back out of tight spaces. The hosts were even helpful with the parking. We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and safe.

We only slept one night during our comute. We booked the apartments in the same day. The owner responded in proper time and waited for us to arrive (around 10 pm). Friendly attitude

The bathroom has no separation between dry and wet areas.
This is the best place I have stayed in in my childhood town - Pleven. It was quiet and very clean. The host is super helpful and easygoing. Walking distance to the central part of the town.
