This time I was very disappointed with the hotel. The water in the swimming pool was not as warm as usual, the stuff was lazy and unfriendly, they served us a moldy cake and the only apology was a bottle of cheap wine and some fruit. The towel holder located above the bathtub in our room fell while my son was taking a bath. No injuries or any drama thank God. The mattresses for the pool chairs were limited so on a Sunday we had to not only pull chairs, because guests are putting towels to reserve them in the morning and hold onto them the whole day using them or not, but also be uncomfortable. I still love the hotel because of my son and hope it will improve so I can also enjoy my next stay there.

Some of the facilities feel old. The outdoor Jacuzzi was warm, but dirty.

Great value for money ! The room was nice and clean. There were more than enough accessories for everything - including a professional hair dryer, teeth kit, shaving kit etc. The staff is very helpful and polite and fulfilled all of our requirements. The outdoor pool is huge and very warm, although outside was 15 degrees. The indoor pool is fine and warm as well. The steam bath is perfect ! The location is nice as it's located in a park. There is a secured parking which is also nice.

The bed was not comfort as it was created by connecting 2 beds so in the middle there was a gap. Temperature was impossible to regulate no matter if you put 20 or 30 degrees it stays hot all the time. Switching off heating appears also not possible. Advertised tennis court need to be paid additionally.

Water in the swimming pools was OK.

    - way too expensive for the offered room - the SPA center itself (except for the pools and massage) was too small, no variety at all - the restaurant staff (also the breakfast) was not extremely bad but not really close for a staff in a 5-star hotel - example: we went to breakfast at 9.30 am and the food wasn't refilled at all, the mineral water dispenser was not working, no labels for the food

    - great location - in the middle of a forest/park - mineral water - various pools, from really hot to cold ones; can be used also during the night - hotel decoration and the venue itself

I didn't like the attitude of some of the staff. The service offered of some of the them was not for a 5-star hotel. In addition, there was no cold tab water and in the shower. Most of the time the water in the shower was scalding hot and one was unable to take a shower in such hot water.

I really liked the pool and the facilities around the pool area. My daughter was also very happy in both the children's and the adults' pools and slides. The mineral water and its temperature in the pool was great and just right.

Very dark prison like lobby and hallways, very warm everywhere, no AC in rooms, mostly shady mob looking visitors and elder Russian tourists, 70 year old lifeguard on duty who turns on the water slide only for 20 min every day. In the gym some equipment was out of order and should be repaired. Wi-Fi connection sometimes was unstable. I didn't like also the construction of the bathroom and specially that after a shower the floor was fully wet.

Excellent location - on the top of the hill inside the garden, the air was absolutely fresh. At the same time it is walking distance from the town center. Excellent SPA with big choice of different massages and one indoor pool and three outdoor pools with mineral water. Gym was good enough although in the 5 stars hotel it should be maintained better. The staff everythere (at the reception, in the restaurant and SPA) was very friendly, helpful and flexible. Rich breakfasts with very good varieties of local products. Free Wi-Fi in the room.

The rooms are super hot, even tough we had turned off the heating. There is no air conditioning in the room, it must be very hot during the summer (5* hotel without air-conditioning?). The Wi-fi was very slow. Breakfast is below average.

All the amenities provided with Air Con, TV set and free Wi Fi. Room and bathroom are big enough. The waters of Velingrad are superb that's why we came here. The Outside swimming pool is big and with a lot of space to enjoy plus the Jacuzzi with very warm water. We tried the inside pool in which you can sweem We must also mention that the hotel has a good relax center with sauna ,steam and Turkish baths. Relax center use, Parking and breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast I must also mention was very good with a big variety of food, fruits and local Bulgarian delicacies to choose from. The staff was generally grumpy - I didn't like it and it doesn't suit for such a hotel. One of the waiters was shouting to the clients, because the asked for the door between the two halls to be closed for 15 mins, so they could be able to watch something on the TV in the restaurant. No matter what the reason is no staff can shout to a client - no way! Also I was not happy with the cleaning of the rooms - our bed was made, but our t-shirts (used for sleeping) were thrown on one of the shelves on my book which was sitting there and next to am empty bottle from the mini bar, which of course was left there. Five star hotel, really?!? The same waiter have told us the night before that some wine (he was helping us choose) was too expensive for us! Really?!? How did you decide that? The food in the reastaurant wasn't anything special - not bad but not good. The breakfast was nice, but i had a tea which had expired - I'm giving a picture (and yes it didn't have any taste).

I liked the location - very nice park around the hotel. The SPA center is really good, the outsite mineral pool is great! In facts the bed was comfortable (unlike many other hotels). It's nice thay we could order drinks everywhere in the hotel and at the SPA. Also the inside decoration of the hotel was impressive. It was very quiet despite of the children there, which were a lot.

Although a really nice place I was constantly missing the 5 star experience. The WiFi in my room was non existent; only the apartments have bathtub in the bathroom; the bed was not comfortable at all (but that may be up to a personal preference); the food wasn't that good; just a lot of small stuff that you don't expect to even think about and yet I had to deal with all of that.

Perfect large outside pool with hot mineral water, even in a bad weather you can dip and feel just fine :) Exactly what I went for and I was happy with it! The hotel is very family friendly if that's what you are looking for, a lot of children running around.

    Very slow service at lunch.

The outdoor mineral water swimming pool next to the pine forest, the spaciousness, very kind staff, excellent breakfast on the elevated terrace.

nothing to think of really. I know the tennis court is somewhat hard to use if you are alone... but if you have everything needed and a partner - that is a good option to spend time too.

This is the best place for summer trip location not only for small or bigger children, but also for adults. Swimming pools are perfect. The restaurant is great for outside dinner.

if the staff in the restaurant were polite and able to understand English or French. the lunch time menu was pretty poor .

The swimming pool outside is superb and well cared for, also their pork schnitzels served on the evening menu.
