Found food selection at restaurant somewhat overpriced and not enough variety for 7 days. Was however VERY tasty.

Neat, clean, friendly staff including dive and restaurant. Comfortable good amenities for most part.

This is not something that I didn't like but if they wanted to make a dramatic improvement they could switch to the concierge diving setup where the crew does all the work for you. That would really set them apart from any other operator on the island.

It was nothing fancy but what it was was practical and functional. The entire staff was friendly, competent and helpful. Really have nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend to others.

I didn’t like the birds eating unattended breakfasts in the Rum Ynners restaurant.

I loved the view of the ocean, the large balcony and the design of the buildings. The staff was friendly and helpful!

The cleaning staff need to pay attention to details. Toothpaste on walls, dried blood on bed frame, cobwebs, etc.

Good WiFi reception and hot water in the shower

Lighting the stove and oven with matches in the bungalows. Dangerous! No hot water in the bungalows, beds are hard, furnishings are old and drabby in all units.

There was hot water for once in the units by the Pool, as well as better WiFi reception. Stayed in the bungalows for a week without hot water, no internet reception, and furnishings were old and dated.

What's not to like at Captain Don's Habitat? We visited 20+ years ago and found it upgraded in practical ways & problem-solving staff.

Excellent all around! Still best-ever for divers! Resort layout well thought-out & upgraded recently. Easy access rooms to lockers, boats; dive masters help older divers. Tanks 3000 psi always. 75+ min. boat dives no problem. House reef great. Still home of "diving freedom." Restaurant & good bar, good shop, rentals good, too. Boats well set-up; short rides to most sites including Klein Bonaire. ECO conscious. Can walk to Kralendijk (45 min.) mostly along waterfront. We speak from experience (1000+ dives each).
