Beautiful location, among trees and rivers, and just 10min from the village. Waterfall bathing within the property. Friendly and efficient service

Everything! Staff were great, friendly, helpful, we couldn’t ask for more. Breakfast was a feast of food, lots of variety and the hotel food was delicious. The pool area is great and we meet some lovely people staying here also.

Nothing! I couldn’t fault the place

Fantastic connection to nature, lots of animals, beautiful grounds between two rivers. Lots of activities and hangout places.

Beautiful location in the forest. Excellent breakfast, pleasant poolside venue. Nice that some activities (zipline, standup paddleboard, kayak) included in price. Friendly, helpful staff; some spoke English. River swim was very refreshing. Restaurant dinner and lunch were tasty, and good value. Common areas comfortable and welcoming, attractively furnished. Good location between Bonito and other exciting tourism options (Ecologico Rio da Prata, Buraco das Araras).

Would be good to have glazed window in room, for more efficient airconditioning and daylight (in addition to the wooden shutters)

We stayed in our short honeymoon and we loved so so much! I recommend you staying a day or two just in the hotel area, there's a lot to do. Don't worry about food or any other amenities, they have absolutely everything for you in there! There's even a small store if you need something urgent and don't need to go to town. It is an amazing place for everyone, old people, couples, family and group of friends. It was really lovely to stay there! And the breakfast, omg it was insane!! Everyday something good and fresh, all staff extremely helpful and friendly as well...

Loved the nature vibe, the facilities activities, and most of all an amazing hotel staff! The hotel staff were extremely friendly, most of them spoke English and they did everything to make our stay memorable. Very good breakfast.

I have to say I think the price to stay here is a bit steep. To pay almost 400 dollars for 2 nights in a simple bungalow, in my opinion is quite expensive. ( I have stayed in many different bungalows throughout my travels, where many had a better standard than hotel cabanas for a much cheaper price) The dinner setting could be improved.

Excellent location, with beautiful rivers where you can swim, float in tubes, and other enterainement. Great, spacious and cleanrooms and bery helpful staff

Food could be somewhat better

Signage directing one to cabins, river etc could have been more extensive.

Location was perfect for someone who has a car and want to be in nature.

The staff was fantastic and activities were fun. However, though the property was extensive, it was not as nice as I had expected. It’s not in a convenient location as you either need to have a car or hire a taxi. We only decided to stay there because of the activities offered on site. But we prefer Pousada Girasol which we had stayed at earlier. It was in town, very nice though small grounds, and offer good value for money. At Cabanas, monkeys roam the area and we were warned at check in to keep our windows closed. I forgot this warning the next morning and opened the window a tiny crack for ventilation. While at breakfast, monkeys entered our unit and took off with our bananas and nuts, and left feces on the bathroom counter and some banana peels on the floor. We were shocked. It was our fault but thought that it would be good for the hotel to put up a reminder in all the rooms as well as install a screen in the bathroom since the monkeys are a nuisance. The room window had a screen. Finally, Hotel Cabanas took a very long time to reply to my queries after I had made the reservation. I contacted them through the booking.com site as well as by email and they took more than a week to reply.

Exceptional experience. Privilegedly located between two rivers, the hotel is very well designed to fit into its environment and the surrounding ecosystem. It offers multiple access points to the rivers and a surprising range of activities on the area of the hotel. The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming. Close experience with monkeys on the property included.
