Beautiful place with a great garden, with friendly little monkeys that keep you company at breakfast. In a calm and lovely area near the beach, 15 min walk from the historic centre, over a hill but not difficult and well-lit at night. The service is kind and helpful with all needs, including boat trips and laundry.

The location is okay but not very near lots of the restaurants and main area so you have to take an uber really

A bit far from the city center. Not easy to call Ubers however the host can provide you a contact of a driver. We still walk a few times to center (around 13 min in a quiet and safe road).

Perfect location if you want to stay close to the beach in Paraty! Walking distance to the historical center is about 15 minutes down the road, where we felt safe all of the time. The garden is very cozy and the coffee, fruit and cake in the morning are nice (the cute monkeys also think so :D )

It's more than a hotel! I came to Paraty for a short while, stayed much longer, and left with great regret. The place is beautiful, with a wonderful garden that soothes the senses, allows you to relax and regain everything you need for life. The hotel has a great location, by the ocean, in a quiet place. The shop and restaurants (also with vegetarian dishes) are very close. The historic center of Paraty is a few minutes away and it is a nice walk (you can visit the fort on the way). And the intimate beach is literally a minute away. You can also rent a boat near the hotel, which I recommend! Every morning at the hotel you can drink delicious coffee and eat cake. In the evening you can swim in the pool, relax in the hammock, sit in the garden. The most important and best thing about Casa da Praia are two wonderful hostesses: Denis and Elena. Both take great care of their guests, are attentive to their needs, cordial and always smiling. I loved this place and felt fantastic there. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed in during my several months of traveling around South America. Thank you for everything!

Lovely staff, the pousada was stunning pictures are very accurate. We were joined by little monkeys every morning for coffee and cake haha. Definitely coming back for a longer stay next time.

We are going to miss this hotel a lot! We stayed 6 nights and loved it. The rooms are very nice and come with a mini fridge. The garden is really perfect for relaxing, we loved waking up to monkeys outside each day and the dogs too. The staff are very friendly, especially Alessandro who was extremely helpful during our stay, gave us tips on places to go, and helped with luggage and anything else we needed, also speaks fluent English. The rooms are cleaned frequently with fresh bedding/towels. Every morning there is cake and coffee laid out for guests which we enjoyed. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, the beach outside which was very nice and a 15 minute walk into the old town of Paraty which we didn’t mind at all. I can highly recommend.

We stayed Hereford 3 nights.the location is perfect. You can walk to the center in less than 15min. It’s in front of the beach where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The Pousada itself is dry charming and just what you need in paraty if you are exploring the city and neighboring beaches.

Clean, comfortable and well-located. The property is just what you want but the hosts, Berta e Berto, made it special. They were very easy to communicate with the entire stay, helped to organise a trip on the island, and even offered me a ride to the ferry on my way back, saving me from walking with my backpack on a very hot day! Property is a 20min walk from the historic centre of Paraty, however we were well aware of this and enjoyed the added peace and quiet!

Beautiful property located right next to the beach! The rooms were clean and spacious, and made all the better by the gorgeous surroundings. With a great pool and luscious property vegetation, it truly felt like a slice of paradise. The best part of this stay were the staff - this is a family-run property and it really shows in the attention to detail and the kindness of the family.
