Funny smell in the bathroom from the vent. Staff need to be a little more attentive to the guests and the cleaning of outdoor tables and chairs. The hairdryer in the room did not work at all, plug was melted. Wifi was difficult at times.

The location is good. Breakfast was good and daily room cleaning. Made the stay comfortable. Easy access to the hike to Palerma.

AC is very noisy and there is no kitchen.

Beds were very comfortable and clean. Good clean showers and spacious. Amazing view to the beach and sunset.

The hotel says no prepayment is needed and that you can pay at the hotel. However we were told it was not possible. I asked the property for instructions on how to use the safety box in the room but no response from the onsite staff or the online messaging system. I stayed in a private room for two nights and a female dorm for one night. In the private room there was no hot water and on the day we received the room it wasn’t properly cleaned. No soap provided and hair in the shower. On the second day, they cleaned our room which we appreciated but we were unsettled by how they moved all of our belongings from where we had put them. My jacket was removed from my backpack and hung in the bathroom… and my friend’s underwear was put into a plastic bag even though it was clean.

The location was nice and I appreciated the entertainment downstairs. In the dorm, there was hot water in the shower and a full length mirror. There was also a nice balcony with a hammock. The private room had a nice view and a safety box. There were nice spaces to relax downstairs.

If you don't want to be part of the bar/the party, there is no other place to stay, because the rooms have no space. However, if you want to sleep, the noise is absolutely bearable. But forget about sitting on the bed, you won't fit, cause bunk beds are really small and close to the roof. There is no way to get drinkable water other than buy it at the bar (pretty expensive), and they did not provide hot water for mate!!

The hostel is also a bar, and there are parties everynight. Good prices for guests. The view is amazing, even from the rooms. The hostel is clean and the staff is nice enough. There are USB ports and plugs next to each bed, and the linen is good. You can book the tours and shuttles at the hostel, same or better price than outside. Breakfast was great!

The hostel is located right on the beach and is therefore full of sand. The cleaning staff should clean the rooms more often.

Every night, there’s a party in the hostel from 23:00 to 01:00, which was perfect for me. The room was quite big, and the staff was helpful. If you stay at the hostel, you get a 30% discount on meals at the hostel restaurant and a 50% discount on caipirinhas (great for parties).

The hostel is great for solo travelers. The hostel is right next to the Bar Che, so expect parties until 1am and you will definitely meet new friends

its a bit of a trek from the harbour over sand which is fine but noone explains you have to walk across the beach! pretty loud at night and some of the bunk have no safety rails despite being very high! sociable but not easy to meet anyone as a solo traveller

cool location, great parties that you get better access to staying there, aircon worked, we didnt have any problems with wifi or electrcity like other places

Cleaning only 1 time a day The room are tiny and if you on the up bed you can't raise your head The guy on the morning shift try to replace my room because someone wanted my bed ! The way to the hostel with suitcase is not easy...

My key card didn’t work at all when I was there. The floors could have been cleaner, they did come in once a day but they were wet and sandy the whole time. And there wasn’t a lot of space to hang things.

My roommates were lovely! The bar is incredible, great location. Very vibey and easy to meet people

Sometimes the corridors were smelly. Toilets downstairs do not have water.

Hot shower would be nice. And maybe curtains. And place to clean feet so that it does not mess in room all the time.

doesn’t have kitchen, just a shared fridge. As a suggestion, maybe they could organize group activities, they don’t have initiatives to mingle.

they have wooden beds, so don’t squeak. Bathrooms are inside the rooms which I found more comfortable. it’s a party hostel, every night dj until 1am. it’s the place where party happens in the island.

What I didn't like: A strange incident occurred! On my first day, I received a shampoo, but I had already bought my own, so I kept it for myself. The next day, after returning from the beach, I found that my room had been organized, but my shampoo was missing. I was shocked; someone must have taken it. I don’t have any proof, but it felt unsettling to think that someone had gone through my things. Lastly, the bathroom was terrible. After two nights filled with issues, I can confidently say I won’t be staying there again!

Dear all, There were both good and bad aspects to my stay, but ultimately, I think I will look for another place when I return to Ilha Grande. What I liked: The location is great; it's not far from the city center. Some employees, like Clara, Bruno, and Vitor, were awesome. However, I also encountered some unhappy guests (employers) at the reception and bar.

There's no coffee 🥲 (only in the morning if you pay full price for breakfast). The AC in the female dorm is really loud. You can't really sit on the top bunks without hitting your head on the ceiling. I know it's a party hostel with a bar that provides entertainment for the whole island but it would be good to include the information that DJ is playing until 2am every night (earplugs don't work with bass). You have to squeeze through dense party crowd if you want to get to the hostel in the evening. The staff doesn't seem very happy to work there and not really willing to help/give some info.

Very loud music until late, so great if you want to party, but impossible to sleep until 2 am. Ended up leaving earlier and booking another place. Location was great, but notice there is no other, you have to walk on the beach with your luggage to get there. Bathrooms and showers not very clean. Not a lot of English speaking backpackers, so not easy to meet people if you don’t speak Portuguese

It was very hard to rest and relax here. Loud music super late, and if you're sensitive to mold (like I am), you'll get sick even if you're there for one night. Went there to enjoy the nature, but was just sick most of the time sadly. If you're looking to only party, this seems like a fine place to stay. But, if you want to do more than party on the island, stay somewhere else.
