Installations are a little bit old in some cases need repainting, the rooms without sea view and facing the street are with a lot of noise. Pool is very small.

- Our room was facing the main street so it was noisy at night. The walls are also thin so we could listen people talking from the rooms next to ours. - The wall on our room had stain right under the air conditioner. - The breakfast room is very small. - The swimming pool on the top is tiny.

I wish there could have been a dinner option in the hotel restaurant, but there were plenty of food options outside that hit the spot. Get ready to be hit with taxes and fees when you pay on arrival.

Location on Copacabana Beach is perfect, close to shops and restaurants in the area, and a short walk from the Metro station. The room is simple but comfortable, and I definitely recommend the ocean-front room (not the alley in which you face the walls of neighboring buildings).

1) Mostly regarding to sound: Room walls were paper thin, so it was common to hear noise from all around (mostly water from neighbors bathrooms circulating through the pipes + people being assholes slaming doors early in the morning) . It was specially annoying at night because you easily could wake up from a random wc flush which you could hear quite loud at times. Also early in the morning people (assholes) often would slam the door when going out, which woke us up every single day I think and made us jump a few times. The minibar motor was also very noisy every few minutes, so we ended up disconnecting it after 2 nights. This in order to reduce overall noise (it surely helped, but not enough). I guess bringing earplugs is a must for this hotel (and others, surely) because of the thin walls (we didnt bring, but it's a lesson learnt for next time). Aditionally: 2) Breakfast was kinda poor in terms of variety. Same food every day. It was tasty though, so it didn't bother me really but it could have more variety. 3) wifi wasn't great, but didn't bother us because we didnt need a good connection this time. 4) air conditioning was kinda hard to balance correctly, but this I would say is a problem we generally have. We dont know how to set them up so I guess its not the hotel's fault, but could be easier to set up!

1) Location is great. A few steps to reach copacabana beach and quite a few restaurants nearby. Ipanema is also close, about 10 minutes walking. 2) Staff and service were nice. 3) Really liked the rooftop view!

Everything was good and even though this is not the hotel's fault, Uber drivers had hard time finding the location which resulted in longer wait times, but again not the hotel's fault.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, which was much appreciated especially since I arrived a few hours before check-in and my room was ready. The breakfast buffet had a lot of good options. Overall, good value for your money.
