The staff are amazing, so friendly and making an effort to answer questions (even helping us with a parking query for Paraty, a nearby town). The hotel itself is lovely, very clean with really interesting decoration and character. The breakfast is also wonderful, they bring out a large selection of items to try, certainly more than we could finish! Would recommend 10/10!

Argentina2 ReviewsVery GoodLack of an afternoon coffee option, or some snacks. The hotel isn’t near the best beaches if you don’t have a car you’ll be missing that.
People that work there were super helpful, friendly and polite, everything was always clean and tidy. The hotel is really close to the center of Ubatuba, with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.

In addition there is a pool and many seating options on the terrace. Promenade and shopping facilities only a few meters away.

Lovely hotel with beautiful wooden art on the walls, swimming pool and a lot of plants everywhere. Nice traditional Brazilian breakfast, friendly staff (even without speaking English they always tried to help us with a translation app).

Breakfast is very good, practically a whole meal. The staff was prompt at anytime to help us, even with little things.

I paid for a room with internet and I was really counting on being able to work online in the evenings. This was big inconvenience for me and lost me some business. I informed the hotel staff if this issue and they denied the problem (although I actually demonstrated it to one of them) and refused to compensate me for it in any way.

Uruguay25 Reviews1 helpful vote“Suitable for weekend stay-traveler with moderate expectation planning to use the local bus service.”The breakfast was very average nothing exceptional if you compare with other Pousadas with less per diem rate for the stay. Also the room that had a balcony do not offer you any view of the sea front, it is just ay other quotidian outlet to get a glimpse of the side by street, nothing more.
The location had its pros and cons. For us it was advantageous to be able to use local public transport that take you to the beaches (praias) in the north and to the south without waiting for the uber or 99 taxi to come to your hotel and pick you up after a helluva delay due to their poor service, what we did was to go to the verdebus terminal which was located within 500 m from the hotel and get on to the bus that took us to our destination, and in this sense it was a great location. At the same time the place is away from the humdrum of the Guarani street full with restaurants and ice cream shops, also a also bit far (around 2 km) from the itagua region and aquarium which are the prime nocturnal attraction location of Ubatuba.
