The rooms have a good size, tv and frigobar but we’re not very cozy. It just didn’t match the coziness you’d expect. It was just beds, a chair, tv and frigobar

The outside area is great, cute and full of things for the whole family to do. We used the sauna, heated pool, pool bar, restaurants, the kids loved the hammocks and the small playground

The staff especially at the reception could be friendlier. You have the impression to disturb them and some of them are not willing to make efforts to communicate in english, quite disappointing for such a hotel.

The only downside was the chalet we stayed in, which had a musty smell and some mold stains in the bathroom — something to keep in mind for people who are more sensitive or allergic. Other than that, the experience was excellent, and I would definitely come back!

The hotel is simply wonderful! Although the initial access might seem a bit hard to find, once you arrive, the view makes it all worth it. The infinity-edge pool is amazing, with warm water and a breathtaking landscape. Breakfast exceeded all expectations — truly spectacular. All of the hotel’s facilities are well maintained and cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was wonderful. Location - though hard to find at first - proved fantastic. View of the mountains and vertical landscape was great counterpoint to the Ouro Preto architecture.

The breakfast was nice and varied, although it did not have many vegan options which limited what we could have. The location is not walking distance from the centre so be prepared to get taxis. None of the staff we interacted with knows how to speak English so some Portuguese language skills are needed.

We had a lovely time here. It’s a beautiful hotel and location with a nice view of the valley and town. The guided tour that was recommended by the hotel was excellent and the massage, sauna and swimming pool facilities are great.

If you dont have a car its quite a hilly walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was good but if you like vegetables like me, you wont find much on any plate.

Beautiful hotel, nice pool with artificial waterfall, there's a gold mine in the hotel and a room with games. Breakfast is delicious, plenty of options. The rooms are clean an confortable. People say it's too small but it's a regular size for a couple.

Rooms smells like sewage, probably coming from the bathrooms but that needs to be addressed. The steam room was overly heated and almost burn my face. Small market or a place to buy basic items would be appreciated in the common area since the city centre is a bit far.

Walking to and from historic downtown requires fitness because of the distance and the steep roads, what is a feature of the whole city. Sewer smell in the bathroom.

Quiet neighborhood, plenty amenities for the sunny and rainy days, breakfast buffet, restaurant open from 11 am to 10 pm daily, English speaking receptionist available, small cathedral and gold mining tunnels on the property.

Coffee tasted like burnt shit. It is not admissible that in a country where more than 40% of the world coffee is produced, they only have dark or extra dark roasts.

It’s hard to get there if you follow google maps. It’d be nice to have better directions from them… Also, the recommended tour agency didn’t show up to pick us up.

View and tranquility of the place were great! Restaurant was also very very good.
