    The property is in the process of being renovated the room was nicely decorated and the common areas were nice

    I thought the cleaning could be better and the staff could be friendlier and at least say good morning.

    Beautifully situated on the beach, just a few km's south of Ilheus. Typical large 'all inclusive' style resort complex set in amongst a tropical paradise. Lovely room with a fantastic view. Huge buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner in the usual pay-per-kg Brazilian style. Massive swimming pool. Full of Happy, noisy, Brazilian families on vacation!

    The bed is clean and comfortable, there is a spacious bathroom and the air conditioning works very well and has no odors.

    There are many insects inside the room, especially in the bathroom. When room service is done, it is very clean but in our case we had to ask them to clean it, as we were on a very dirty beach due to the sand. The resort charges some fees and does not inform about them or the obligation to pay, after all, most of them are optional. We stayed in a room very far from reception and when we arrived they didn't help us with our bags to the room.

    Location, view and some staff. Good variety of breakfast and dinner

    First point to state hair in the meal we ask at the bar, secondly they don't enough pool towels (remainder that they charge you every day if you change the towel unacceptable), we order a meal at the bar more than half an hour later they come back to tell us that they don't have meat for the burger, beach chars and tables very out of date amd almost all are broken. Doesn't justify the price for the hotel conditions and last complain since 29th up to 31at that we be without light in the bathroom we spoke with they 3 times and never was sorted.

    The food was amazing. The kitchen/bar area is carrying the hotel in many ways. The staff is very friendly and the pool area is very nice. Breno was the nicest of the staff, and we became close to him, he was an amazing helper with the language barriers and his smile and professionalism were spot on.

    Almost nobody speaks english or spanish, just portuguese. We had David, the manager who was very welcoming and Breno basically shadowing us, the whole 9 days. This isnt great to be honest, many times we ended up using sign language to order our drinks, not terrible, because most of the staff was super sweet, but there were some moments, where it would have been amazing for them to understand just a bit of spanish or english. Another big bummer was the internet. Sadly when the people were using the internet, it slowed down, to the rate where you can only use basic functions. In 2023, this is unacceptable by a 4 star standard, in my humble opinion. We bought an ESIM so we saved ourselves a little, but honestly, its not that difficult to build out a super fast internet network for a hotel this size (quite small). Surely this should be fixed, the only reason its not a big issue, is that 95% of the guests are from Brasil. For the 5%, will be difficult. That was us. We did have a very good time, so Im only writing down these for the sake of constructive criticism.
