Facilities look much nicer on pictures than in reality. Picture of the breakfast is a lie. Building, reception and cafeteria are old, not really taken care off and just dirty in some cases (blankets in the reception are scary to touch). Room was good, however not very clean, we found nails (of a previous guest I suppose) on the floor. Internet connection was very poor, took me 10 min to download a word document.

Compared to the building, reception and cafeteria, rooms were relatively nice. Manager of the hotel was also nice. Didn't have a chance to see the pool and the gym..

Hard to find, not very fresh lobby

Central location though at night can be( like many places in Rio) little spooky. 5 min walk from Lapa and modern rooms

Nice hotel with a great pool and views in downtown Rio

The food could have been better. They should have sound-proof windows due to the location. The bathroom door was a piece of frosted glass that did not seal around the edges, so you could hear outside noise through the door and it let through night time light from the surrounds. Bring a sleep mask and earplugs.

The hotel was nice and in a great location! It was near the metro station and the tram. The pool was excellent. It was clean and the rooftop view was perfect! The workout room was top-notch! The rooms were adequately sized. Also, breakfast is included in the price.

The hotel is a bit too far from the metro, about 10 min of walking

Recently renovated and upgraded hotel. I stayed in 4 star hotels much worse than this 3 star hotel. Don't be discouraged by a small lobby. Room was a good size, well furnished, with a split system AC, and a comfortable bed. Some rooms are with city views, but may be a bit noisier. The hotel has a sauna and a real, well equipped gym on the top floor, next to a small pool. Breakfast was pretty good.

The hotel looks like an abandoned placed from the outside. Dinning room very dark. Breakfast was sad, little variety and quality.

The hotel looks like an abandoned placed from the outside. Dinning room very dark. However rooms itself are outdated. The surroundings doesnt look safe to go around during the night or early moorning

A refurbishment would be due. Cleaningness was not flawless when arrived, but they corrected it upon our request.
