Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The area around the hotel is a little run down. Breakfast could be improved.
Functional but perfectly decent hotel in the centre of BH, less than 10 mins walk from the bus terminal, market and shopping malls. Comfortable if small room with decent shower. Breakfast ok but was the same things every morning with no hot food options. Staff very friendly and helpful

The area is a little bit dodgy, although we didn’t have any issues.
Excellent value for money. Comfortable room, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. No air conditioning, but a very big and effective fan system instead

Stuff was very welcoming and professional. I had no problem with the late check-in. The room was comfortable, clean and calm. I got everything I needed for 2 nights stay. Nice breakfast. Excellent location close to Mercado Central and anything you need.

Staff does only speak portugese.
Clean room. Good breakfast. In walking distance to Rodoviaria (five to tem minutes). Good WIfi connection. A lot of shops around of the hotel.

Very convinient hotel located not far away from the main bus station (rodoviaria) of Belo Horizonte you can easily reach by foot. You're not far away from the center of the city (Praça da Libertade or Parque municipal). Staff is very kind

The area ilthe hotel is in is a little run down (it's typical if an area around a city bus station) and on return to BH for a few nights I stayed in Savassi which was a really nice area. However this hotel is exceptionally convenient for the bus station.
This hotel is exceptional value for money compared to some others in the city. The staff were helpful and the room had everything needed for a night's stay and good hot water and wifi. A good breakfast is also included. It's a short walk from the bus station so good if you are stopping over.

Beds could better. WiFi was quite spotty and connection was lost several times during the stay.
Good place to stay when on a budget. Hotel is a little outdated but everything is clean and functional. Beds are decent (not super comfortable but also not bad). Good breakfast options. Location close to the Rodoviário and city centre. Overall I recommend the place.

the only thing I would add is maybe more healthier options for breakfast - maybe add eggs? and the location of the hotel is a bit dodgy but one can get used to it.
I honestly do not understand bad reviews. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. the breakfast was ok. I personally enjoyed a lot my stay and in comparison with other places i stayed with the same price range this hotel really was great.

Sound proofing is not great, but it gets quiet at night anyway. The neighborhood is a bit dodgy, but the location is convenient for reaching the bus and train stations.

People from neighbouring bedrooms are very noisy sometimes that can wake you up. But other than that the place was great for the price.

Nothing. For the price I paid, it was amazing deal!
Location is the best. Close to bus station, which is very useful if you want to travel around to Diamantina, Ouro Preto or Tiradentes. It is just 10 minutes slow walk away. Room is simple, but for price I paid, that was amazing deal. I spent only nights there. Air conditioner worked well, bathroom is great. Simple but nice breakfast with amazing Brazilian coffee. Price/quality is 10 out of 10!

Room a bit tight, you can hear noises from other rooms. Booking a bit confusing because of a caution, but i got it back after arriving. The area from the hotel can be rough for tourists during the day and for all evenings
Near to bus station to Ouro Preto and airport Belo Horizonte, simple but niche breakfast, attentive staff, room was clean, incredible value for money, room in the inside side, not to the street
