Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beachfront hotel, excellent view. Room was comfortable clean and seemed to have been recently renovated. Breakfast was very good as well. Paid parking was available right beside the hotel.

Unfortunately the pool area was close during our stay for construction without giving us advance notice
We had a large Room with sea View at moderate price. The hotel is well located to the beach and lot of restaurants as well as to the fish market.

Room was outdated, one towel in room when we arrived. We never did see any hand towels. It felt like since we were in a discounted room we received discounted service. There was a delay every time we asked for what should have already been in the room.

The furniture in the rooms probably could do with a bit of an upgrade also offer more blankets not just one single very thin sheet.
the breakfast was amazing, the lobby area with the American bar style is beautiful and a plus. the decor around those areas are gorgeous and very comfortable to hang around. the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Unflexible staff with any type of request (late checkout, holding a package at reception for a friend, etc.). Outdated facilities (only lukewarm water in the shower, leaky air conditioning, very old elevators that didn't work half the time, old furniture). No guests allowed in the hotel. Tiny desk and poor lighting make it ill equipped for remote work.
Perfect beachfront location in a relatively safe area. Good breakfast buffet. Very large rooms. Fast internet. Basic but sufficient gym with a sea view. Supermarket a block away. Walking distance to many restaurants. Rooftop pool and deck for lounging.

Frankly, I liked everything. The only suggestion is to update the room furnishings.
The location is fabulous. The breakfast was great, many options and all good quality. I especially liked that I had the opportunity to try some traditional foods and juices. Staff was kind and patient. The bed was comfortable. At some point, to be a top hotel, the rooms should be updated, but I'd rather pay the reasonable price I paid with a simple room than to pay much more for luxe. Great water pressure in the shower. I LOVED the rooftop pool!

More towels and amenities in the room would have made it more complete. Also, the jacuzzi on the roof was a tease. It was working but was not hot, which would have been great at night.
The room was great, great location, super friendly and helpful staff. Our bed was actually two beds put together which created an uncomfortable gap between the two beds. One queen or king size bed would have been better for us.

I feel the rooms need a bit of a modernisation; things are starting to look a little dated. Not 100% sure its at a 5 star standard but still very good.
This is the second time we have been to this hotel in Fortaleza. The staff were friendly and the man at the door always said hello in English, which was a nice touch. The room was large and the bed humongous. (Deluxe double with sea view) The breakfast had a great selection and I especially enjoyed freshly made tapioca com quejo! This hotel has a great rooftop pool with amazing views.
