First of all - the hotel is a little worn down, but as the price was very ok, it is not a big problem. The thing that should be improved is the wifi. The routers are not made for hotels.

There are a few things that are important to me at hotels in Brazil. I usually travel by car, so I need secure parking at the hotel. Then the shower has to be good. Good pressure and lots of hot water. And then the breakfast. All of these were good at this hotel! I had to pay a little extra for the parking, but I can live with that. The location was good and bad at the same time. Good because it is central and easy to get around. But it is in an area where you have to be careful about not having your phone out too much and not displaying too much expensive things. As long as you use common sense and not walk around with your nose in your phone, you will be fine. Or just get an Uber to where you need to go. Metro and Uber are excellent ways of getting around. The wifi is free, but the speed is not too good. Another nice thing is that there is an ok restaurant and a little shop where you can buy stuff you need just across the street. My room had a minibar fridge that was empty, so I could buy water etc at the shop and keep it cold. There is a McDonalds that is open 24h just 10 min walk from the hotel. Just 2 min walk from the hotel, you find Avenida Ipiranga, one of the well known streets in the city. This street borders the famous electronics area in Sao Paulo. So if your are looking for anything electronics, this hotel is a convenient place to stay. If you drive in by car, Waze will guide you straight to the hotel and it was surprisingly easy to get there. The parking is next to the hotel, just past the entrance.

After 22 hours the area around is dangerous, i would suggest to move around only via Uber (that is very cheap and taxis doesn't exist in sao paulo). The breakfast have to be improved a lot.

Weird smell. Quite old. A lot of dirt in the district. The pictures r nicer than my room was.

Breakfast is OK. Location is near bus stop and Pinakotheka. Calm atmosphere, polite staff

Plan your sleep until 08:00, as the room storage is noisy with a lot of furniture being dragged away. The breakfast is regular, very simple and lacks jam on the menu. Air conditioning doesn't work satisfactory, so don't expect such a chilled climate to sleep. I also didn't like that I was charged Booking value for a few more days, not the direct fair value of the hotel.

Well located hotel, kind attendants and reasonable price. I recommend not going out at night in the area, but if you go out, protect your phone. Have lunch right in front of the hotel at Pampas Grill, with a varied and tasty buffet.

They don't give you little amenities like small shampoo packages or tooth paste. There was also no one time use paper slippers and no hairdryer. They may seem simple but very important for a comfortable stay.

Everything was perfect for me.

The hotel is well furnished, comfortable and the staff is wonderful. I forgot something in a Uber car and they promptly help me contact the guy and fix the issue (the guy was correct too). I got an anticipated check-in for almost nothing and an anticipated check-out (for professional reasons) arranged. The breakfast is perfect and the rooms are clean everyday (unless you don't want it on some days). Before coming there, I read some comment about people leaving in the street, this is general in Sao Paolo, and (for me) they are not an issue. In this case, they are not the street of the hotel, so please relax. Last, but not the least, the price is affordable and it seems to be reduced most of the time. So, just go.

The air conditioner didn't remove the heat or moisture in the room. I looked out the window, it explains everything. Coils are filthy. The street is dark at night at hotel entrance. Over 50 vagrants on the next street over at night in the dark.

The breakfast was great. The restaurant buffet across the street made all the other entire restaurants look terrible. Only $8. USD

The location was center, but dangerous and dirty area, not safe for tourist. The room was very small and I requested for quiet room and they gave me one, but the canteen staff and guest where very rude, they keep banging and dragging the tables around during breakfast. The food was ok.

WiFi was terrible, and my cellphone had almost no signal in the room, so i was practically cut off from the outside world. Breakfast is not served at the hotel, you have to walk to another hotel nearby
