Bed was a little hard, and the music outside (which I loved!) meant you had to stay up a little late.

Everything is PERFECT

This is not an hotel, this is a little beautiful DREAM Made with love!!! The details, the interior design, the unique atmosphere! The location is wonderful, you can live the vibes of the beautiful square and the Cathedral, with amazing caffè and restaurant on the square.. The place is simple amazing and inspiring. The staff is so so Kind and friendly. Simply LOVE everything… Grazie mille for the wonderful stay!!!

Having just one courtesy bottle of mineral water on the first night for all the stay, forcing guests to buy minibar water, in a country where tap water is not drinkable, and in a hotel of this standard, is simply unacceptable. In all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Brazil, there has always been filtered water and either water jugs or complimentary bottled water available in the rooms. It costs next to nothing. Just charge R$10 more per night and provide water, it’s a basic expectation!

The location is very central and perfect to wander around in Pelourinho. Old and authentic stylish building, with a large and beautiful room.

Bar closes a bit early

Loved that the hotel held onto its old world charm and the setting was authentic. It felt like stepping back in time but with all the modern elements. Perfect location to experience Salvador and some great restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend the hotel!

This hotel is incredible : absolutely gorgeous decor, with the cutest pool, and the personnel was super helpful and delicate (the breakfast ladies were amazing too). It is the perfect spot to relax and eat delicious food. I cannot recommend enough !

I have no words to describe the customer experience at Villa Bahia - it's a 11/10! Everything was perfect: the location in the historical center, the charming & luxury hotel, the super friendly staff, the delicious breakfast... I highly recommend this place :) It's very rare to find a service that premium in hotels nowadays!

Incredible boutique hotel with lovely rooms and a perfect plunge pool in the back for hot Salvador days. Lovely staff, amazing breakfast and could have stayed a week as opposed to just one night. Perfect location to explore the centre and most interesting historical parts of the city by foot.
