There is no AC in the rooms and it was extremely hot while we were there. There was a fan provided in the room that made sleeping tolerable. This is just something to be aware of when booking.

This Auberge appears to be family run and is a friendly little no frills place to stay for a night or 2. It was cleanly, perhaps a little dated but for the price, that can easily be overlooked. The main floor lounge area and restaurant had good AC. The front porch had nice seating and was a comfortable place to relax. The breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the location about 20 minutes outside of Baie St. Paul and close to the St. Lawrence River. The ferry to Isle aux Coudres was at the foot of the street and a marine museum just around the corner.

The bathroom was really small and I didn’t like the lack of bedside table in the bedroom.

Loved the location - so quiet. The staff were lovely and friendly. There was ample free parking. The room was relatively small but it was fine.

There is no air-conditioning. There is a portable ventilator available in the bedroom. But I knew it.

Lovely countryside hotel. Clean room and comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. They offer a diner option under reservation, which is practical.

The very small bathroom. There was no lift to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was cheap but we didn't like that it was so small.

It is located very close to the ferry to Isle aux Coudres. Staff were very friendly and helped us in keeping our travel food and ice packs cool by offering to hold in their refrigerator and freezer.

Unfortunately there's no meals being served in the evening and no restaurant nearby. It's only a 20min drive to town but still... They provide a small microwave one needs to plan ahead and bring that because there is no store nearby. We were in a triple room with limited places to put the luggage. There's no fan or AC in the room and the windows are the typical canadian that barely open.

The place was nice and quiet. Cute traditional house with nice outdoor area to relax at the end of the day. The staff was welcoming and ready to help us with our questions and requests.

The rooms were a little small, but it's an old building and this is reflected in the price.

The staff were excellent, particularly the receptionist, who was so helpful. The location was also good, lots of outside space for sitting out.

The room might get just a bit warm during the day without AC.

The location is great - off the main road with a great river view along the big slope and a peaceful seaside village. The hotel is next to a rural train station, a maritime museum, and a ferry station. Breakfast is warm and fresh ($9.50 extra/person).
