Tucked just off the street, ringed by trees, this is a quiet oasis within walking distance of Baie Ste Paul’s downtown. It is an attractive, well kept property with outdoor sitting both private and communal. The owners are friendly and available. Our 2 night stay was very relaxing. The room was very clean and had all amenities as stated. There is a convenience store just across the street.

The only thing I could suggest is to upgrade the television for a bigger format and maybe have some shampoo/conditioner available in the shower but I absolutely loved my stay at Aux Portes du Soleils! Thank you!!

The room is simple and very clean. Having a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster is very convenient for preparing simple meals. It's only about 10-15 minutes walk to the touristic town with many nice restaurants as well. At night, it was very quiet.

Towels felt like sandpaper. Air conditioning didn’t work and we were never at the hotel before the front desk closed so we couldn’t complain to anyone. We mentioned it at checkout and owner said we could have just called his phone if it was after hours…would have been nice to have been told that when we checked in

All rooms have direct access to the parking which is very convenient. Microwave and fridge with freezer compartment available in the room, as well as a toaster. Bathroom has a fan. Very clean and nicely decorated. Free wifi.

Directly above our room was another space and either those above were exceptionally loud, or the sound proofing was really lacking.

We had room 16 and it was spacious with a small but separate “kitchen” area, huge bathroom and private driveway with private outdoor eating area.

Our vacation was too short! This place had no faults, in our minds.

Friendly hosts and service, very clean and the location was excellent... close to where we wanted to be in Baie St-Paul (short drives). What a comfortable mattress too! Decor was tasteful and renovations well done.

There was no tea or coffee in the room, and no mug. However, there was a microwave, toaster and kettle!

Cute little place. Very quiet. I very much enjoyed having dinner and breakfast on the patio. It was really relaxing. The room was really cute and comfy. The staff was great!!

The was no coffee machine or even mugs in the room. While we heated water and AC was on, the room’s breaker jumped and we lost power. We found ourselves in the dark in a very hot room for a long time as there isn’t any worker at this place after 8pm. It was long to get service as we could not talk to anyone calling the number listed in the reception door. My husband inadvertently unplugged the AC from the wall socket at night when he went to the bathroom so it got really hot in the room as we thought it was broken again. Really didn’t sleep well. Avoid room #6. Sub-par AC equipment/electrical installation + Not convenient with only a small window and no outdoor seating area attached to the room. We feel it is overpriced for what we got.

The room is as clean and beds comfortable. The room is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. Not too far away from the Main Street (~ 15 min walk)
