The house tended to be a bit chilly in the evenings, but the heating was promptly turned on at night. However, a minor inconvenience was the constant falling of the towel hook in our room.

Charming stay! The house is centrally located with everything in walking distance. Convenient on-site parking was a plus. Inside, the kitchen was well-equipped, allowing for easy meals. The ambiance was simply splendid, giving a sense that the house was steeped in history. Our room offered a stunning view of the mountains, making our experience even more memorable.

Rooms - 8/10, slightly small, very this walls, noisy beds and staircase.

Location - 10/10, two mins from city centre, shops, malls, restaurants. Kitchen and common area - 10/10, big, nice, comfortable, all utensils, TV, all the kitchen staff.

The room was very tiny considering the price, but on the other hand, when you're in Banff no one spends a lot of time in the room anyways

The Location was amazing, as it was only 3 min walking distance to the main road with all shops and restaurants. The common area downstairs is really nice and cozy, the kitchen is very well equipped

We did not have shower gel for body and no hand soap in the bathroom.

Bedrooms a little small but it wouldn't put me off staying again or recommending a stay here. You are only in your room really to sleep. The rest of the time you are out exploring or nice setting downstairs to relax in.

Loved the location, very close to town, short walk. . Very friendly hosts. Felt homely too. Lovely area to sit for dinner or just to read then a cosy fire area too. Our bedroom was a bit small but great for our needs. It was clean. We stayed three nights and would have stayed longer if our trip would of allowed.

Room was quite a bit smaller than expected as it was difficult to sit down or move around. I suppose you get what you pay for. In all fairness they did have larger rooms but as a solo traveler it was within my budget considering the abhorrent fees that other hotels were charging.

Staff very friendly and professional. On site free parking and Wi-Fi. House had a lot of charm. Location was excellent and within a few minute's walk to center of town. It kind of gave me the sensation as a upper scale of a hostel. It had everything one needed such as a reefer, dishwasher, untensils and such

Creaky bathroom door and so many stairs. We still liked our room and enjoyed the house.

We had a room on the third floor, with a tiny bath and low ceilings on the sides. Quiet, clean, 2 good beds, plenty of lights and plugs, great common areas with nice kitchen, laundry and foos ball table. Fantastic location and kind managers who were easy to reach. Would highly recommend. In a quiet neighborhood with free parking and just two blocks from shopping, restaurants and transit.

The first room we got was extremely small for the price it charges, but Erin was kind enough to offer different ways to accommodate our needs. The walls aren’t sound-proof either so you can hear people talking next door and the doors are loud when open/close and being locked/unlocked.

The location was absolutely perfect. The beds were very comfy as well. The washer and dryer are free to use and very nice ones too not those cheap combo ones. The common rooms have lots of space to work, eat, and there are board games and even a foosball table too! But most important of all is that Erin is the best host. She’s super friendly and tries her best to solve any problem you encounter. I absolutely love her and her family! They really made our stay so much better!

If you are going to stay in the top floor, you definitely need to pay for hospital expenses since its not an actual room but its a roof and if you are above 1.30-1.40 metres you %100 will hit your head multiple times every single day. If you dont mind that, you will still have to go to the hospital cause you have to stand up like the pisa tower to avoid the damage which creates in immense neckpain only in a few hours. The rooms are also very close to each other (pretty much inside each other tbh) which creates serious noise problems (people partying in their rooms on the weekends at 3-4am). Lastly, they told us that the room key will be inside an envelope above the fireplace but there was nothing there when we came in and we had to call for someone to drop the keys. (No one picked up the calls for a while)

The location was great, the included parking was something I didn’t know was so important until getting to Banff so I’m glad that is included. The inn was 2 min from downtown, the staff was great, the service was great, the shared spaces were clean and the appliances and cookware were clean and of high quality.
