Fantastic view, on hill overlooking ocean and islands. Watched sunset from sunroom. Friendly hosts, made us feel at home, had interesting stories to tell. Complete kitchen for us to use in our apartment, which could be closed off from the house but didn't have to be. Comfortable bed, large clean bathroom.

We were very delayed arriving but the owner waited up to welcome us and settle us in.. They had even made some muffins and biscuits for us.

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They shared a wealth of information about places to eat, and knowing that our extra day was meant for exploring and beach-combing, they shared numerous ideas for places to explore. Everything was absolutely PERFECT in every way! Our room had a beautiful view, and we even had access to a relaxing patio to enjoy the sun and sea.Our room was so pretty, and the private bathroom was spotless, with every little amenity provided for. The bed was VERY comfortable, the bedding soft and cozy. This is a place of perfection. Very happy, kind and welcoming hosts. Comfort beyond compare. And that view!

Smallest of things, but the WIFI signal was weak and would drop off now and then.

Very thoughtful. Shower had body wash and shampoo. I just felt that had I forgotten anything, they would have provided it.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! We highly recommend it! Owners are very friendly and accommodating. The apartment overlooks the Atlantic Ocean in a quiet Cape Breton town. There is a grocery store nearby. We attended a ceilidh at the Chestico Museum with an old time fiddler. The Celtic Music Interpretive Centre close by, in Judique, had the best food ever and live fiddle music including a nephew of Natalie Macmaster's. The apartment is very clean, beautiful. The bed is very soft and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The sunroom is lovely and has a good view of the ocean and lobster fishing Harbour. Again, we have no complaints. For the price, it was more than we expected.

Our rooms were far from each other. We had misinformation from booking.com. Each room has only one bed and there is no other place to sleep. We travelled with 3 kids under 11. So we slept on floor. Other room was for our parents

It was an excellent trip. Even the weather cooperated. It was totally sunny 2 out of the 3 days, The host and hostest were extremely friendly and very helpful with the places to go and the things to see. Francis was born and grew up in Port Hood. There isn't a place you ask him about that he can't give you a detailed run down. The apartment is perfect. You have access to everything there. Just bring your food and ask the hostest (Cathrine) for anything you forgot, if she doesn't have it she will try her best to get it for you. They are both unbelievable. The bed is very comfortable and the TV and WiFi is perfect. the bathroom is very spacious. The toilet is like a throne. Perfect accommodations for 2 people. I would give them a ten. Will definately be returning and staying longer.

The house was near one of the five beaches but we couldn't reach it by footpath.

The view from the terrace was magnificent although we had to leave the apartment to reach it.
