Parking was not available on site and it was VERY expensive.

There was a lot of outside noise in our room. We’d suggest the sound insulation and/or window glazing would benefit from replacing or upgrading

Getting the rate quoted on Booking.com. Got billed an extra $60 for no obvious reason.

Room was clean, washroom/shower worked after a bit of experimentation on yet another clever arrangement of knobs and dials.

Restaurant was small and crowded, live music was lowed and poor at the time I sat down for dinner. Very hard to carry on a conversation. Food was good though.

Signposting around the hotel wasn't great so I don't think I made the most of all that the hotel had to offer and I found logging into the Wifi very confusing and managed to be charged for it (which thankfully the receptionist took off for me). Some reception staff were very helpful, others were a little cold. I particularly appreciated the staff member who patiently tried to book me a taxi to the airport, her perseverance was appreciated.

The room was great, spacious, clean and well laid out. The breakfast was very yummy and I stayed for a few drinks in the evening, a good selection. The location of the hotel was brilliant and very handy to have the Calgary Tower opposite as a way to navigate back to the hotel. Good location for trains and busses as well.

Every time we went outside there were ‘homeless’ people arguing, laying down, walking around barefoot. When the valet wasn’t outside I felt on edge being alone with my toddler.

The open, welcoming downstairs area. A special extra: the maintenance guy was able to open my samsonite suitcase. Somehow the lock attachment on the end of the zip had been wedged into the lock during handling from my flight from LA and I could not gei it open! The guy carefully used giant cutters to cut the lock attachment, yet still enable me to use the zipper. I don't know what I would have done without this help. The little touch at checkout where there was a bowl of freshly made chocolate coated , mouyhsized sweets, wrapped in cellophane for guests to eat. They were delicious and it was so thoughtful. The quality of the food, which was excellent. A lot of care in devising the menu and great execution. Talented chef. Great king sized bed. Great location, in the centre of downtown.

The room was noisy but I guess that was because we were downtown!

The room was lovely and clean - we added club access for our second night and that was really good value as it included breakfast. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Calgary Tower. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful :-)

The reception was not super friendly. When we arrived they informed us that their credit card machine does not work so I have to fill in a form online and send it to them. However, they would charge over 7 dollars a day for internet. They only agreed to waive the charges when I shed them that the B.com description said wifi is for free. They also said they do not clean the room every day, unless we specifically ask to. Typical large hotel with many guests and little attention to each individual.

The location was excellent, right under the Calgary tower. The room was quite spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Valet parking was great.
