My room was in the Atrium Building and faced into the interior of the building, so was quite dark. In the mornings it could be quite noisy due to the sound of people in the lobby area reverberating up through the open centre of the building. The Wi-fi was only free if you are a Marriott-Bonvoy member.

For my purposes, visiting my daughter who lives in south Calgary, the location was excellent. I did not use any of the facilities such as the pool, so can't really comment on that, apart from the fact that they were available. My room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast, in the lobby area of the main building, was good and reasonably priced. I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Noise from constant air flow which you could not turn off and vibration and noise from roof top HVAC (on top floor where I was), was annoying. Fire Doors from stairwells did not all close by themselves. Stairwells are in need of a good scrubbing.

The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The room was too stuffy with the fan off and too noisy with the fan on.

The breakfast was great value, tasty and the service was very good.

Would have liked to have found an extra flannel blanket in the closet. One of our rooms air conditioners was not working properly, the temperature in the room wasn't terribly hot but a cooler room is best for optimal sleeping.

The hotel was quiet and rooms were nice too. I enjoyed the toiletries provided, found the quality of TV and other room amenities to meet my expectations. Although there is a pool in the hotel, there was not a sight of any chlorine smells which is exactly what I would expect from hotels but often not the case.

Tried to cross to other part at ground level and needed to cross busy side road. Not a good idea. Best to stick with skywalk.

Great hotel, would recommend. Two parts with restaurant in other side and room across the skywalk. No problem really.

Breakfast was great. Service not so but thank you to one young lady who noticed no menus after a long wait then breakfast came asked three girls for a coffee warm up as well as butter for pancakes & never came. Wished I new the young lady paying attention as she then served us well & gave us coupons for a free breakfast

The location was central to my activities and this really helped. I love their breakfast and how attentive the staff are to details. I had an awesome weekend and will certainly be back very soon.

One waitress needed more training in the restaurant. Served us hot chocolate that was cold. My grandson spilt it because the cup was really heavy for him. She never topped our coffee, we asked another waitress on shift. She tried to take our extra ticket when we only had three meals because our one grandchild only ate my toast. Waitress was a bit scattered. The woman that served us the day before for breakfast was a phenomenal server. She was absolutely incredible. Gave her a good tip!
