An awkward lay-out with the toilet & shower in 1 room and the sink in the main bedroom.

The location was perfect for us as we were visiting friends & family near by. There are lots of restaurants close by and the neighborhood is quiet. The breakfast is exceptional with made to order eggs, meats, fruit, etc. The staff are friendly & helpful! Cambie Lodge is now our go-to place to stay when visiting Vancouver!

super thin walls had our neighbors entertained when the shower valve was stuck, plus the stairs were narrow and steep.

Location was terrific, a block from the main transit line, easy in from airport and onward to downtown. We most likely had the smallest room, yet it was fine for a weekend getaway.

You never meet any staff other than the lovley Ukrainian lady doing breakfast. Sink in my room is very low on the wall, and I didn't know there is absolutely no room-cleaning during a three-night stay.

Easy handling, great lcoation, cozy house and room - and best of all, I was able to sleep quietly with windows open, still close to restaurants and more. Lovely winter garden for breakfast and, better even, a nice sunny deck, weather permitting

Staff was very attentive, friendly, responsive and helpful. Very clean, fresh towel and linen service without having to ask. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, prepared to order - wonderful and friendly service. Quiet location. Parking wasn't an issue.

It is nice that breakfast is cooked for you, but the other options were a bit underwhelming. No muesli, no plain yoghurt, no espresso or cappuccino. However with the great coffeeshops around we made it work.

We shared a basement apartment with separate bedrooms, which was very convenient and because we were out and about the whole day every day, it didn´t matter that not a lot of daylight came in. The location is excellent for exploring the city. You can walk downtown or take the metro, ideal. In the neighbourhood are very good restaurants, coffee places and supermarkets. Staff checks in with you on a regular basis.

Lovely staff. As an older property it had some quirks like washbasin in the bedroom which was fine. Appreciated the bath. Room was a reasonable size and bed comfortable. Great breakfast. An expensive city to stay in but this was good value.

We stayed in the room at the main floor, where the people footsteps from the upstairs room were clearly audible.

The place is so cozy and we felt to be home. The staff was kind and available to give all the information we needed. The breakfast contains food from a small buffet (fresh fruits, bread, cereals, etc.) and a hot plate prepared at the moment (you can choose among different types of eggs, pancakes and French toast). There is the Broadway-City Hall train station close to the B&B, which permits to reach both the airport and downtown within maximum 20 minutes.

Water pressure was low. Took forever to remove soap in the shower. Lost all hot water in the shower when the commode was flushed or the sink turned on.

It’s true that there is a strange smell - I think it’s a mixture of old carpet and washing powder / cleaning agents. New carpets would really be a good idea! I didn’t sleep well as the mattress has had its best days already

Nice house in a nice neighborhood. We were lucky and got the upstairs room with patio. Close to city center. Good for a night. The place was clean.

Very hot with poor ventilation in a small bedroom. Fan had little effect. Shower water flow and temperatures control too variable when several users concurrently use showers.

Breakfast and attendant staff excellent. Good provision of common lounge, outside front porch and breakfast indoor and outdoor spaces. Location near town hall and transport very handy.

Room could have been cleaner, the carpet wasn't well vacuumed.

Easy to find with parking space. Nice original house, the room had all the necessities and the breakfast was good with fresh cooked options. All public transport nearby.
