Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Its an actual bedroom in a home so it feels like home, everything is modern and clean and the host is very sweet and helpful. There is nothing that is within reason that would not be accommodated as well as a short distance from the mountain.

There was nothing we didn't like.
The suite was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped so that we could easily prepare meals. The host was professional, helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this accommodation to family and friends.

The only thing to mention, you can hear other people moving around the property from your room. Not a problem for us, but something to mention if that’s an issue for some.
Warm and friendly welcome, with a super comfy bed to fall into. We loved the peace and quiet of the hot tub in the garden too, as it’s a little out of town it has the serenity we were looking for. Breakfast was excellent!

I cannot think of even one thing!
What a beautiful home in the mountains! Kat gave us a warm welcome when we arrived, and the camaraderie continued throughout our stay. Our room too was warm and inviting, with lots of added touches. Kat gave us suggestions about where we might like to go for supper in town and drew our route on a map as to how to get there. Breakfast this morning offered us many choices. Kat made us feel so at home!

Breakfast was really good, comfortable bed, and the bathroom was beautifully appointed. We arrived early and Kat was kind enough to let us check in. Super place and we'd come back to stay for certain.

It was such a lovely stay. The room is neat with comfortable beds, an area to sit, relax and read. The host was just a delight, we had a very good time. And breakfast is exceptional with fruits, oatmeal, flakes, yogurt, eggs in all variations etc. We stayed in an arctic cold and the room/house was still very comfortably heated.

Breakfast not included.
Very spacious and clean accommodation. Good facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. Located in a very nice an quiet area so you need a car to get to the centre but it’s only few minutes drive. Definitely recommended

The host Kat was excellent, so welcoming and helpful, made us a lovely breakfast and spent time explaining the area and giving us recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and things to do. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Nicely appointed spacious apartment. The property was at the end of the street on a dead end, so it was very quiet. For those with small children, there is a playground nearby.

Very comfortable, with everything we could possibly need. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome and had plenty of information for us. Breakfast was amazing .the best we have had! Hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Five star accommodation.

We really rarely rate, but here we just have to... What a fantastic accommodation!!! It feels like you are staying with in house and every time we came back from our day trip we said, this is like coming home! Kat & Paul are fantastic, the breakfast is great, there are free drinks and the hot tub is an absolute highlight. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much!

Lovely place. They were so kind! Cat and her husband told us a lot about Canada, gave us hiking tips for around the area. Very nice breakfast. Room was small but cozy. Everything was very clean. There is a common area with sofa and coffee/tea facilities. Hot tub is a nice extra! Would come back anytime
