Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of review scores we received. Guests can also give separate subscores in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nancy and Joe are friend,y, professional hosts. Very warm and down to earth. They thought of everything from slippers, robes, toiletries and refreshments. Our bedroom was lovely.

We were a group of three couples traveling together and one room has two double beds. I would prefer all rooms have Queen or king beds.
It is a beautiful property. The above and beyond include first the hosts, Nancy and Joe who were very kind, robes for your use, air purifiers in the room, refrigerators fully stocked (included) in each room, fireplace in each room, large smart tv’s in each room as well as the main living room, charging station in the main seating area, cable tv and Netflix, beautiful patio for guest use, Champagne. Those were the above and beyond. Great food, great location, very accommodating hosts!! Will definitely return.

Location is not quite walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops and parking is expensive, but Casa Blanca’s generous parking lot let’s you come and go with no problem
Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. Our hosts, Joe and Nancy were very gracious and accommodating, making you feel immediately welcome and comfortable. Their helpful suggestions led us to some great dining choices.

Joe and Nancy immediately had us feeling right at home. The warmth and friendliness were apparent within moments of meeting them. The attention to detail and the home like atmosphere had us falling in love with the first glance. Great location! 15 min walk to Queen Street and shops / restaurants. Easy to navigate to wineries. Hosts were awesome - very nice and the daily breakfast was 10/10, always different! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Definitely would return.

We did not like leaving!!
The room/bed and breakfasts were exceptional. The owners were amazing. They treated us like their most special guests and we felt like long time friends by the time we departed. They spent hours chatting with us and sending us in the right direction and recommending their favorite wineries and restaurants. They had a special birthday surprise at breakfast for my husband which started the day out just perfectly. We would love to return some day.

Good breakfast. Lovely accommodations. Nancy was lovely, and went out of her way to make us comfortable. We had sailed over from Toronto, were tired, and had to sail back in the a.m. She accommodated the breakfast time, and even gave us a ride to the sailing club when we could not get uber to respond. We would stay there again in an instant.

We enjoy having breakfast with other guests. This only occurred on our last morning there. But the hosts explained that this was due to ongoing Covid concerns and that they offered it only if all guests were amenable. We thought that was a good plan after all. One thing that was disappointing is that we weren’t able to use the overhead fan at night when the AC didn’t run as much. The light had to be on in order to run the fan so it wasn’t suitable for us. The hosts explained that this was a wiring issue but perhaps there could be a way to kill the overhead entrance light (remove the bulb?) for those who wish to use the fan at night. It really wasn’t needed during the day because the building was kept very cool with the AC Despite these minor things, our stay was super enjoyable because the hosts are the most friendly and engaging hosts we’ve ever encountered.
Breakfast was delicious and varied by day. The location was not as convenient to the downtown area as we had hoped but it was not a significant issue. Nancy and Joe made up for any shortcomings for sure! Oh, and the back deck was a beautiful spot to have coffee before breakfast.

We often judge our stays at B&Bs by our hosts; Joe and Nancy were exceptionally warm and gracious! Their home is lovely: bright natural light, a small deck to enjoy mornings, and a beautiful breakfast room. Our room was on the first floor; it had a comfortable king bed. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Casa Blanca was a perfect location for us to bike to the Shaw Festival theaters. We enjoyed our stay with Joe and Nancy and plan to return next year.
