Bathrooms were clean, but service in the bathrooms could have been a little more thorough or frequent.

Room is a little small and the chair at the desk could be a different style so that it's easier to maneuver in the small space. Location is quiet, but close to fun things to do in the city.

One of the ceiling lights wasn’t working but as soon as we told the front desk she did put in a maintenance request. Some people might not be comfortable with shared gender bathrooms although we didn’t have an issue with it.

The room met expectations, relatively comfortable beds with basic bedding, desks and lots of power outlets. The bathrooms were nice and clean, it was great that there were laundry facilities although we didn’t use them. Appreciated that we were able to get a kettle from the front desk. Also pleasantly surprised that towels were provided and delighted that we had access to the gym facilities which were great. Good location, easy 25 min walk to waterfront and so convenient that parking is included.Check in/ out was smooth and staff were great. Great value stay in Halifax!

Just wish there were more outlets in the room, and the stairs were a bit of a trek.

mixed bathrooms with showers , washing machine had rotten water in it as it hadn't been used for a while, all doors slam shut and make a horrible noise.

Was a little surprised there were no plates, utensils, cups, etc. available in the room. With a microwave and full fridge, it would have been nice to have that available.

Location was great, within walking distance of most of our events. The rooms we clean and very comfortable.

This is not a hotel so basic stuff is missing: there is no TV, no radio and no coffee machine in the apartment. Sure, a media room is down the hall. but during our stay a couple was always there, cozy installed, so we choose not to disturb them. A map of the complex, with the facilities would help.

The rooms were clean and spacious, nicely furnished. The is a laundry available on every floor (amazing, since Halifax was just a stop for us in our long Atlantic Canada tour)

Everything was perfect but make sure you know which house you’re staying in on campus beforehand, otherwise it can get quite confusing to find.

The peaceful ambience of the location coupled with some fantastic weather . The front desk staff and the support staff were very cooperative and friendly and willing to go out of the way to provide services.

My friend was disturbed one night by students in the hallway around midnight. Not having a fridge in the room was a disadvantage.

We found the reception very helpful We enjoyed being on the campus. The breakfast at Howe Hall was good value for money and plentiful. The location in Halifax was great for walking around and using the buses.

Cold water wasn't working on half the floor for duration of the stay. In-room washbasin, nearest kitchen, and half the laundry washers were broken as a result. Minor inconvenience as it only seemed to affect half of the facilities, so just needed to be worked around.

Great value for visiting Halifax. Exactly what you'd expect from student accommodation - comfortable but basic. Room was a decent size, bed comfortable, linens and towels provided. Shared washrooms were clean and no issues with availability. Reception staff were helpful, and happy to store luggage before/after stay and enable a slightly earlier check-in.
