Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe rooms facing the roads were noisy as the windows did not provide good sound reduction. The AC in the rooms were noisy. Both of these comment have been made by other guests but we did not see them before booking. However what we did like outweighed the dislikes
The location was excellent, the rooms were clean and staff friendly, a bonus was the free car service to downtown Vancouver provided by the hotel

United KingdomBreakfast was a disaster best avoided. On first morning, we were advised breakfast was on 9th floor instead of usual 2nd floor. We turned up at 8:20am and realised it wasn’t a self service buffet but table service with a limited menu. We had a tour guide booked other side of town at 10am so had to abandon at 9:40am, having only received part of our order by this point. (Thanking the chauffeur of the hotel service car who dashed us across town that morning and we just caught our guide!) I spoke to reception later and agreed a refund on breakfast that morning (although it seemed begrudged the offer was appreciated) with an assurance it would be better next day. It wasn’t. We still waited an hour for breakfast - definitely not worth it. One cup of tea or coffee (really??) plus 1 choice from limited menu. As a vegetarian I was limited to granola, honey and yogurt - no sign of honey and perhaps a spoonful of granola. On 3rd morning, hotel did do a takeaway breakfast for us, as breakfast isn’t served before 7:30am and our flight was early, so that was appreciated. The WiFi was an issue. We were on 7th floor and WiFi was terrible, dropping constantly. My teenager was not impressed! I mentioned this at desk and both times was told it was fine, no other complaints, but we hadn’t had this issue in any of the other 5 hotels we’d stayed at on our journey. Our room also had a window that was broken - hinge broken so it didn’t close properly, which we quickly noticed on first night and had a poor sleep due to the noise. They fixed this quickly the next day, after we reported it. It is next to busy road though so you’re always going to experience some noise.
Hotel in good location. Staff were happy to help, particularly on the concierge desk. Liked the L’Occitane products in the bathroom.

CanadaThe rooms could use a change of carpet and general upkeep. In room service choices were not available. there were no bins in the corridors or lobby.
The location was great, walking distance to most places. There was a hotel shuttle available for limited use that was useful. Proximity to the grocery store.

United KingdomThere on lights along the bed frame that are on a sensor so if you get up in the night you can see where you are going. This is an excellent idea for adults but for a family of 4 with young children who were very jet lagged not good at all. The children weee awake due to jet lag and every movement they made the lights came on waking everyone else up.

United KingdomThe process for serving breakfast was not good. It was also disappointing that only one drink is included with the paid breakfast e.g. coffee or orange juice and there was an extremely limited choice.of food options. Limited staff numbers led to unnecessary delays in being served.
The hotel has a central location in downtown Vancouver and close to all amenities. Check in was smooth and efficient and our room was very comfortable and clean. Staff throughout our visit were friendly and helpful.

United StatesThe hotel is a renovated older building so that is something to take into consideration. The rooms are on the small side and some of the paint and finishes need attention.
Loved the location. Nice small boutique hotel lobby. The staff was very helpful and a car available to local establishments was a bonus. Our first room had a faulty air conditioner that was quite loud but management was responsive and moved us promptly. (I don’t know what happened for the next person who was assigned that room because I think hotel sold out.) i also quite liked the bedding and bath products. I wish we had been able to enjoy the rooftop bar but we did not have time. Looked at the space though and it seemed very pleasant.
