Hotel was under renovation but the floor we were on was complete and very nice. The clerk explained to me what was taking place in the hotel. It was a little struggle to get my wife's wheelchair in at the time, but should be much better in the future.

The room was very good with soft beds which we like. Toilet was too low for my wife and hard to get up from with her arthritic knees. The staff was very very helpful and the breakfast was very good.

The property is under construction at the moment so you have to enter by the back entrance and things are a bit messy in the lobby area. Hopefully that won’t last long.

PARKING!!! The parking area was at front of hotel and entrance at back. Website noted parking at back? No signage to indicate where to park, very confusing. A long haul for seniors with bags. Also there was no breakfast, hotel under construction but seems not prepared to be open during renovations. Consider a renovation discount for customers.

Renos. Parking lots all tore up. They were repaving but it wasn't ideal. We only had 2 towels in our bathroom with 4 guests staying. 1/2 a roll of toilet paper I had to go get more from front desk and I was told I had to wait till morning to get more towels. I did end up getting them but I shouldn't have had to ask. I called office and was told I had to wait until 0800. Then when I asked in the morning I was told I'd have to wait till 0900. After a friendly conversation, the cook was able to get towels and she brought to my room. WEIRD. Overall, they were nice. I get the whole building is undertaking a face lift, BUT

This hotel is undergoing a major renovation. This should be stated on the booking website. The hotel is amazingly clean considering the size of renovation. The breakfast room was very small with limited seating. The AM manager needs to be more accommodating. I ask for a invoice copy and he would not print it off.

The room was very clean and quiet. The hot breakfast was a nice surprise.

Construction in lobby area to entrance was at the back- not pretty. Also very small breakfast area (assuming this is temporary due to construction?). Breakfast was cold. One elevator was dedicated to construction which made for long waits. No bedding provided for pull-out couch, had to go down and get some--- given one small pillow, stained sheets and very tattered blanket. Should not be charging full price for rooms when there is total chaos in the building.

WARNING to all, the building is undergoing RENOVATION and this is not made clear in the main advert, only in the small print. Therefore, breakfast is setup as a take out service, but quality was good. Request top floors to be away from renovation disturbances which we didn't notice in our stay.

We were in room 517 (this visit) and each time we used the microwave in the room, there was a distinct smell of smoke produced. As well there was water damage on the ceiling to the left of the window. We as well experienced silver fish in the bathroom. What with the lobby total renovation ongoing. We had to enter from the rear of the building. The pool and hot tub were as well closed. The gym was removed at this time during the renovation The temporary breakfast location (in behind the temporary front desk) had six seats and three tables. On this past Saturday morning the overflow of breakfast diners had to sit outside on the curb and in the designated smoking area.

The rooms on the fourth and fifth floors were freshly renovated and the included buffet breakfast was tasty

The place is under some serious renovations! There is not access to the lobby, front or most of the hotel. The staff is not very versed in customer service, we almost walked out but we prepaid. They do not make you feel comfortable… kind of a “take it or leaving” attitude. They give you a good rate if you prepay but you are in for a big surprise with the service and renovations. Very unusual and somewhat u pleasant situation.

Very nice rooms, new and super clean. Breakfast in a tiny room with no ceiling and drywall is included. But it’s not your usual stay.

The wifi was spotty so couldn’t connect properly for some of the time.

Breakfast was good but unfortunately room was cramped and dinghy because of the renovations. I liked the fact that it was a quiet night and that I saw a notice posted about the penalties for not respecting the ‘quiet’ time!

Cleanliness is not all there. The lobby is dusty and under renovation with no space and super limited. Do not eat breakfast! It is disgusting!

The place is under renovation and you drive up to the front of the hotel it looks like an abandoned building with exposed steel beams and broken windows. A sign instructs you to drive around to back. You enter and you’re in a re instruction zone. Receptionist was a bit offish. She didn’t say they held a $250 + full room charge in my Credit card and didn’t actually quote the correct total room charge with tax included. I learned about the $381 CC charge the next day. The room was however newly renovated as was the entire 4th floor. Good breakfast despite a shoebox sized eating room (again under reconstruction). In the end it was good value but clients should be made aware that the place is u set construction.
