For what you pay, the location and room are very good. No private bathroom, but that was the biggest drawback, the rest was as expected. The HI also had a great staff and activities to do on site which was nice. They were very accomadating.

I have the impression that many people live in the hostel permanently, which means the refrigerators in the kitchen are a mess and overflowing with stuff, leaving those staying as tourists with little space to put their few belongings. It would be nice to have more refrigerators and the ability to organize their belongings in boxes, like in other hostels.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I was able to rest comfortably after my journey. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I appreciated the sink in the room. I also liked the cabinets that held all my luggage. The kitchen was clean. I really liked the separate space for working remotely; it made things much easier. It was also nice that there were small refreshments – oatmeal and a candy bar. The Wi-Fi worked well. The location was great – close to buses. The neighborhood was quiet and not noisy. There was a laundry service. I was very pleased with my stay.

The breakfast! Although it mentions breakfast is included. The downfall from this was that there was no selection or choice of breakfast. What I was expecting like many hostel, the staff would put out a variety breakfast for you each morning. You could help yourself to a selection of cereals, bagels, waffles, juice, fruit and tea/coffee. Unfortunately for here, there was 2 baskets placed at the reception desk. You could pick up a nutri grain bar and small pack of oats/porridge. That was it! There was a coffee machine in the dinning area so you could help yourself to black coffee.

The room I was staying in was very clean with plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and big with a lamp on both sides of the bed with a big open window. There was a blackout blind which was nice, a table and a sink in the room. Handy if you want to wash your hands or brush your teeth. The room had a fan which was great to have to keep cool throughout the night. The bathroom was always clean like the showers and toilets. There is a lot of places around the building where you could chill and relax.

The ladies washroom on the 1st floor had a musty smell to it. It was very clean though so I think it was coming up the drains.

Location was perfect. Glad it had parking. Was quiet except for wind slamming doors. Big library. Staff were great!

The bed was quite uncomfortable and the walls are so thin. Could hear doors slamming and people walking all night.

Yes it was nice and clean i found the beds 🛌 nice and comfortable enjoyed my sleep and it's 1 block 🚫 away from the main attraction 82nd Avenue and bus service is 1 block 🚫 the Grocery stores are between 3 to 4 blocks 🚫 away down to 80th ave than down 3 blocks 🚫 to 104th street McDonald's is in the same area and i went to west Edmonton mall to check it out i enjoyed 😉 😀 🙂 👍 all i saw there even took some pictures to sent to Friends

when i sit on the bed, the second bed too low, it always hit my head, I wish the bed should be lower a bit, or the top bed should be higher a bit more, so it won't hit my head. and I can sit straight with my back
