We stayed in the Isabella room which has some ventilation issues. A separate air conditioning unit has been installed in the room which can be quite loud when it turns on in the middle of your slumber. I would just pick another room for my next stay. This small inconvenience will not deter me from returning to this beautiful property.

For the price the Manor provides a great value. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding.

Everything about Brockamour Manor was wonderful! We were greeted by our hosts on arrival, given a lovely tour of the home, and provided a map of the town with special spots pointed out to make sure we visit. Mel clearly loves her town and it is evident when she shares her excitement about things to see and do. She provided us vouchers for wine tours, around the clock refreshments and a 5 star breakfast. Matt and Mel are great and their bed and breakfast is one of the best!

The hosts were simply excellent. They were warm, friendly and caring. The breakfasts were excellent and served very nicely. The dining room was relaxing and unique, with its 1812 design and lovely finishings. There was always coffee in thermoses before breakfast and always butter tarts left out for after dinner enjoyment. The parking was spacious and the grounds enjoyable. Would always stay there in NOTL...Kevin and Joan

Everything about the Brockamour is impeccable. From the gorgeous exterior to the beautiful interior. The beds are comfortable and the room was perfect--from crisp linens to the heated tile bathroom floor. The four-course breakfast was to die for! The owners, Melanie & Matt, are super friendly and hospitable. My 10-year-old son and I were completely entertained for the evening with pool and several different board games to choose from. Even he said it was his favorite--that's a big review for a b&b from a kid! :) We would give it even more stars if possible!

A minor quibble - the bed was comfortable but a little on the small side - the price of history I imagine!

This is a fantastic place to stay - a fine, older house where history greets you around every corner. The hosts are kind and considerate, the breakfasts phenomenal, the location superb.

The beds were extremely comfy and the bath robes were so fluffy! The breakfast that comes with the room is a 4 course culinary delight and leaves you stuffed! Fantastic hosts, they made a genuine effort to welcome us and even gave us a lift to the local winery as we arrived late. Grounds are lovely, we stayed only one night but there is outdoor space for BBQs / gathering. Close to a number of the wineries, under 10 minute walk into the centre of the old village. Recommend visiting nearby Peller for their ice bar. Four course breakfast in the morning was very appreciated and very good.

The only glitch was a minor one--the bathroom sink was clogged so it drained very slowly. Everything else about the facilities was excellent.

Beds were comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Because we needed two beds (traveling with our daughter), we booked a "loft" room, the only one with two beds. It was spacious and comfortable but the ceiling slanted down toward the sides of the room so you had to pay attention to avoid hitting your head. Most B & B's are not really places for families but we did make good use of the game room that had a pool table and various board games. There were nice touches like sherry and pecan tarts in the afternoon and candle-lit staircases, to name just two. Fresh, good coffee available early in the AM was especially appreciated by me. The "downtown" area is about a 10 minute walk from this B & B. The walk was pleasant but keep that in mind if walking is a problem for you. Parking close to the main street is metered and it can be hard to find parking space at certain times of the day or evening.

While the 5 blocks or so into town might have been walkable, the extreme heat that week in September made the car a necessity. We never had trouble finding parking in town.

The breakfasts were wonderful, 4-course affairs which promoted great conversations around the tables. Our room was pleasant, relatively spacious, and well appointed. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. Quiet and peaceful were the advantages of not being city-center.

Our room's auxiliary A/C unit was loud and didn't cool all that well.

Breakfast was huge, delicious and included a dessert

Lots of steps going to the loft but it was fine.

The entire breakfast was awesome. Yogurt parfait, homemade croissants, homemade jelly for them. Delicious egg pancake with ham and a baked banana with homemade Carmel sauce. Orange juice coffee and the hosts were very friendly. There was refrigerators stocked with water a coffee pot in the lobby a game room. They thought of everything. Host Rick told us the history of the building. It was very interesting.

Steep stairs on the way to the loft. Angled ceilings in this room made you walk around hunched over. No privacy in the bathroom as there was no closing door, only a partial swing open slated door. Based on all else, I'm sure the other rooms would have been fabulous. Bit of a walk to the downtown area and taxis are few and far between if the weather is not good.

Enjoyed the home, hosts, property and fabulous breakfast meals. Very helpful and attentive. Would definitely go back but in another room.

Based on spectacular reviews, my friend and I stayed one night at the Brockamour for a 'girls' getaway this August. The only word that captures our entire stay is 'LUSH' ... inside and out! The breakfast was great, the complementary sherry was divine, the owners attentive, friendly and laid back; and their attention to detail pretty much met any whim a guest could have. We were more than pleased! Will definitely be back!
