CanadaWe’ve stayed there several times now and are generally happy. However, every time we call we wait 15-20 min and no one ever answers the phone. Whether it be to manage our booking, arranging valet parking, or pick up our luggage. We can never reach anyone. It’s to the point we now just assume they won’t ever pick up.

BrazilBreakfast is very poor - and it is definitely not worth the price. Also, the staff could be better trained, as when I arrived I asked about breakfast hours, and was told that it started everyday at 7:30 am. Then, I learned that on weekdays it actually starts at 7, and on a Saturday morning I discovered that on the weekends it is only after 8... I learned this in the worst possible way, because I had a professional meeting early in the morning, and so I had to go on an empty stomach. Also, the check-in process took longer than necessary.
Location is very convenient, just a few blocks away from the historic center. Rooms are clean, comfortable, equiped with a mini fridge, a sink and a microwave, and with plenty of space.

The room was great (loft on 12th floor). No plugs next to the bed and no bed side lamps so that was a little inconvenient. Nice view, clean space and beautiful. We also love the location! Walking distance to old Montreal, Place des Arts, and many other amenities.

CanadaThe toilet did not work properly ever. It would not flush properly and so nothing would actually go down with a flush. I asked for a toilet plunger which they brought up right away. The kind lady offered to do it but I declined and did it myself but after an hour of plunging, it still did not flush properly. It was very late at night at this point and so I didn't call again as I was checking out the next morning but toilets should really be in proper working order before giving a hotel customer a room.
The room itself was very spacious, well-laid out and super comfortable. The location was excellent.

They upgraded our room to a studio, it was one of the best stays we have ever had. Studios are spacious and have all the facilities you can think about. We could even stay for months in this wonderful room. Location was good. Staff were great.

United States of AmericaWater pressure in toilet system doesn't work great. Hotel seemed to know this was a sporadic problem. When we spoke to the desk they were aware this happens sometimes. Needed a maintenance request. Shower set up was workable but a bit weird. Literally nowhere at all to put your toiletries except on the floor of the shower.
Very clean. Spacious room with tons of room to stretch out. Comfy beds. Very nice staff. Excellent location. Bathroom was a little weird and towels a bit rough.

United States of AmericaThe biggest con by far was that the valet took FOREVER! There is no pull-off area and no valet person standing around waiting outside so the area where you are supposed to leave your car is unclear. The front desk guy told us to park it in the 15-minute waiting zone so we did, but our car was still there when we came back from dinner nearly 2 hours later. They blamed being short-staffed and operating from a new, farther parking garage and that's understandable, but we were worried about our car getting towed in a foreign country. Then, when we were checking out at 10am, we were asked when we would like our car to be retrieved. We said 11, but when we got back from breakfast it was not ready until almost 11:45. Since we were in a rush, we politely asked if it was possible to get our keys back and just retrieve it from wherever it was parked ourselves. So all of these hassles and we were paying $30/night extra for parking. However, we were told that we would not have access to the garage they use. Other, smaller cons include the fact that our room (1209) was near the elevator and we could hear it whirring when it was very quiet (like in the dead of night), and that the water pressure was poor.
Pros: nice room setup (loved the second sink), great view from our room, decent gym, spacious lobby with comfortable seating, comfortable beds, pleasant staff

United States of AmericaRoom was kind of poorly lit. More lamps? Maybe add one overhead? Housekeeping was not particularly reliable. Didn't always clean room and wouldn't come back when we asked them to come back in a half hour. Said they had to clean then or not clean at all ...?
Front desk was helpful and upbeat. Room was attractive and the bed was quite comfortable. I liked that they put us in a corner suite, which was small but felt private and the space was well set up. The location was remarkably good. we had easy access to Old Montreal, Chinatown, Place des Arts, St. Laurent shopping area and many other venues.
