I was quite surprised when when we returned from a 14 hour work day to find the room exactly as we had left it in the morning. There was no housekeeping effort on our weekend stay. The beds were unmade, the towels and such were exactly as we had left them. I was not informed or even hinted at that for the weekend there was to be no housekeeping service. Greatly disappointed.... not sure if if in-town travel convenience is worth the room costs with the barest of minimums on guest service. The "included" breakfast is a farce... muffins in cellophane packages, and like low-cost, low effort attempts at what may be loosely called a breakfast. I hesitate to call it a continental breakfast, as in my mind it does not come up to that minimum threshold.

The motel was very convenient for location close to our work site. The staff were friendly and cooperative. The property itself is nice, but dated in is decoration and furnishings.

Rooms where small and dated. Carpets need a deep clean. My feet where sticking to the carpet coming out of the wash room.☹️ Breakfast wasn’t what I expected for a “Continental “ breakfast.. no milk for tea(cream only) no black tea(peppermint only) prepackaged croissant or muffin(not fresh) bruised apples & pears. Plus was the oatmeal and yogurt.

Room smelled musty when first got there.....the couch had bit odor so i sprayed some febreeze on it smelled better it.....the couches should be steam cleaned...the place is little dated could use bit of updating as i noticed the lobby bathroom was dingy not very inviting....the lobby was ok however the big windows are outdated they were cracked had tape on them in spots....overall it was ok place to stay...

Had big park lot place was not busy for the first night stay .....bed was comfy then room was big....the staff were freindly it had nice flower gardens and planters gave place warmth...

In not a smoker so I could smell the smoke in the room.The Lock was changed but the replacement did not fit the area so there was a gap whi h was taped up. Ice machine did not work.Breakfast was ok but nothing for kids to drink.

The phone didn't work. The showerhead needs cleaning or descaling. We asked for extra pillows and didn't get them. The breakfast that was advertised to have pastries, yogurt, fruits, oatmeal etc has packaged tiny blueberry muffins and packaged tiny croissants and apples. Nothing else. Beds were mediocre. You can feel the frame of the mattress on The edges of the bed. older style spring mattress.

Bigger bed and sweetener at breakfast

We liked the room it was alittle small but very clean but not enough toilet paper the bed was comfortable but too small other then that the man at the front desk very helpful and friendly the price was awesome and it was very quiet. Those two things are easy to fix but I would recommend them the breakfast in the morning was good but they should have sweetener available not everyone can have sugar.

Room needs a complete renovation. Very dated and outside of room needs a good power wash and paint. Window was very dirty and there were spiders around all the lights. There was an old towel from a previous guest with no new towel.

Convenient location. Super friendly staff at check in. Fridge in room. Offers smoker friendly rooms which is hard to find these days.

Step down into the room. No coffee in room. No drinking glasses. Only 1 tiny soap in bathroom. Reservation was for 3...to use the King bed and pull-out couch. But no sheets, pillows or blankets for the pullout couch and towel and washcloths only for 2 people. No bath mat. No sheets available when requested...but we were supplied with a quilt and a blanket and pillow for the couch and extra towels and cloth.

Room was spacious. Bed was comfy. Pillows good. TV nice. Bagged breakfast good. Wifi good.Fireplace unexpected and cozy. Fridge with freezer good. Tub and shower good. Hairdryer good. Staff pleasant and helpful. Neighbors quiet.

As much as the fresh paint looks lovely it doesn't cover up everything. The rooms we had seemed damp and smelled damp. The staff had opened the windows go air out before we got there so I can assume there was a musty smell as we caught a bit of it. I have 5 boys so they had a great time. We needed a quick cheap place to crash and it served that purpose.

What they advertise on booking dot com re coffee maker in room and breakfast did not exist. They advertise a good breakfast but its a grab and go. I was informed that Howard Johnson management have cleared the hotels to offer coffee makers in room and cooked breakfast etc. I stayed elsewhere in Ontario the day before and got a cooked breakfast. This is companies being cheap and hiding behind covid. I dont blame the staff but management need to sort themselves out.

No coffee machine, or even glasses in the bathroom. They said it was due to COVID, yet the hotel we stayed at the previous night in Peterborough had everything, including coffee machine and fixings, plus glasses in the bathroom. Couldn't even get tea or coffee in the breakfast take-out bag. Just water.

Convenient to where I was going. Have stayed before, during COVID, and was satisfied. Clean, but lacking some items in the room. So not satisfied this time as I was before. Items that were in the room before, aren't available now.
