Our room contained a large bath/jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi hasn't been used for a while and when it was turned on, it spewed out bathroom mold into the water. The room appeared clean, but the sheets were unironed and the pillows were very hard. It appears that the owner has changed recently; the facility seems to be in the hands of a management company and the (very pleasant) resident owner/caretaker (?) speaks essentially no English, so we communicated through his little daughter. We were served an omelette for our first breakfast with no bread. We don't eat cooked breakfasts and asked if we could have only bread and jam the next day, but received a terse response from the management that the breakfasts are complementary and cannot be changed. The next day's breakfast was what looked like a ham and cheese bun covered with some yellow sauce... One potential problem is access. The house is built into a steep hillside and access is through a narrow "fairy cave" passage between the rock and the house, followed by a steep staircase to the rooms, which is tough to negotiate with heavy luggage.

We stayed in the King's Suite, which was very spacious and very well equipped, with a large, comfortable bed and a view of the lake. There is also a communal room with a dining table for 6 persons. Somewhat surprisingly, the common room also contained a large illuminated plastic snowman (in July), Christmas lights, plus a gold reindeer and an ornamental bird cage on the balcony... The lakeside was well equipped, with a jacuzzi, two kayaks and a canoe, plus life jackets - all free to use.

Was a bit confused when I arrived as there is no actual "reception", but host quickly showed up and took us to our room. Breakfast could have a bit more options (jam, bread, etc.).

It almost felt like we had the entire place for ourselves for most of our stay. Using the hot tub with the gorgeous lake view in the background will be something to remember. Room was big and comfortable. The AC worked perfectly and was very welcome for hot days. Hosts live in the place upstairs and promptly responded to any requests. They gave us a lot of space and were always smiling. Free kayak/stand-up paddle were a great addition.

It's a bit of a drive to downtown (about 10-15 minutes).

The lake is beautiful, and the bathtub and hot tub were great.

the only thing that was disappointing is that the hot tub when we tried using it the jets shot out loads of dirt and even after a 2-3 times draining and trying to get it clean it was still unusable. however, I was compensated for this and the property management was very respectful and apologetic for this hiccup. they also have a hot tub on the deck area so we could use that.

The room and property was beautiful! breakfast was very good and the presentation was nice. we had everything we needed and if we needed anything more the family was responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Tv stopped working halfway through our first night, told staff and nothing was done/said about same. Breakfast hotdog sausage was also not out favorite choice, rest of the breakfast was great though.

Dock set up was very nice, nice atmosphere and lights around the property. Use of hot tub and watercrafts was excellent. Very quiet and relaxing.

Mold in shower and tub jets. Lots of hair in shower drain that we had to remove. Lumpy squeaky bed. Excessive fluffy decor - dusty and dirty Not enough insulation between floor levels

The fruit was very nice. We didn’t care for the rest of the food and didn’t eat it.

Bed was hard and uncomfortable, needs at least a 3” memory foam topper on it which would make it a lot better. No creamer options in unit to make coffee and barely any milk given for coffee at breakfast, creamer would have worked with the amount given but not milk. Breakfast wasn’t great, apart from the fruit. Whole unit was on a slant so a bit strange to walk around in.

location was exceptional and gorgeous being lakeside. lovely relaxing place to stay. Great having AC in the unit and access to water activities.

The noise from above with wooden floors was very loud, the hosts didn’t speak any English and other than show us the room did not tell us or show us the dock area where we could take out canoes & sit. Also only being offered coffee for breakfast no water or juice.

Bathroom door not aligned and wouldnt close. Open soap bar, clearly used in washroom. No new soap bar. They clearly came into the room while we were away and did not lock the guest connection room door. Essentially leaving our room open to other guest = security issue.

Breakfast was superb! Bathroom had a lot of toiletries and the jacuzzi was a nice suprise! Yummy columbian coffee was delicious and avacado smoothy was also perfect. Gumpas netflix. Netflix available and A/C in the room was quiet and perfect. Kayak and canoe was great. The dock, swing, bbq, and lounge hammok on the dock was a great suprise and so comfortable. Nice slippers provided. Very quiet environment (Morning was dead quiet)

This bed and breakfast has new owners. Communication with the owners was very difficult (their English is poor). Breakfast was not Western style and was very disappointing.

The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is that we heard talking and footsteps from the room above us. It even sounded at times like they were moving furniture around - this spoiled the ambiance of the room. Also it was a little odd that we never saw anyone and breakfast was just left on the dining table outside our room.

Our room was wonderful - spacious, great view, comfortable bed, clean. Very happy with the room. Enjoyed the lake - dock area was well equipped. Took out a kayak, relaxed on outdoor furniture, very nice.

The included breakfast included a beautiful fruit plate but I would have like decaffeinated coffee.

It’s a beautiful location with access down outside steps to the lake. Too cold and windy to take advantage of the available kayak and canoe but it was offered. Room was spotless and there was much appreciated quiet and privacy.

Stairs were dangerous to the room. Poor lighting in the dark Better communication with owners would have been helpful. Didn’t seem to have anyone on site to help (tv to work, fan for fireplace, food choices for breakfast)

On arrival, no host, small child answered our door knock. No coffee available in room, only tea was green tea. All in room information referred to previous owner, including phone number for questions. Current owners not readily available for questions, limited command of the language.

Location on lake was beautiful. Unfortunately weather was poor, unable to take full advantage of water sport opportunities

We did not like the breakfast on the first day it was summer rolls. I do like summer rolls but not for breakfast. The next day it was eggs benny so they redeemed themselves perhaps a choice on whats for breakfast? And a little bit more professionalism when arriving would have been nice it would be nice to be greeted when arriving because we were unsure if we were even at the right place. There was also old food left in freezer. It was disappointing that the hot tub was closed it would have been nice to have been told about that when booking it.

We loved that It was right on the lake kayaking was so fun we hung out on the dock all day and night. The room was beautiful and the Jacuzzi bathtub was a very appreciated . It was nice that we were left alone to do our thing and not be bugged. We would totally come again and stay longer next time.
