We had a very hard time getting in the room. The key didn't seem to work properly. Took a good few minutes to unlock it if we were out.

We are not sure everything mentioned in the facilities section is actually available. There is a view but it's not great, and the whole place has a tired feel. The room was quite small, and the number of electrical extension leads in use was quite worrying. The worst thing was the overpowering smell of artificial air freshener. It was so very, very strong we had to leave the door open for an hour when we arrived, even though it was cold outside. Very cheap, minimal toiletries. Only one towel each, no towel for drying your hands after washing them, which is annoying. Only one coffee bag given, other (cheaper to stay in) places have given us at least two bags with pots of creamer, not silly sachets of powdered rubbish. A kettle would be nice, especially if you hate coffee! The bed was comfortable but very hot, there seemed to be a lot of bedding, and the mattress was very weird, like sleeping on an egg carton. OK for one night, but glad we didn't stay longer. We would hesitate to stay here again.

Easy to find as right on the main road. Not far from the village, which has some nice shops. Great to be able to park right outside your room.

Great experience from start to finish. Owner was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and had all of the necessities. I was happy to have some tv variety which was far better than most chain hotels. I would stay here again!

Nevertheless, the toilet wouldn't flush. After like 30 minutes it started to flushing. I missed a bit of personal touch as I didn't even get to know or talk to the staff properly. Everything was organized remotely.

This motel was great place to stay for one night if you need a place to overnight for an exhausting day or long trip. Almost everything was alright at this motel.

We had a portable air conditioner in the room, had to keep it full blast as if you turned it down it would start squeeling as it seems that the bearing or bearings are gone, Wife and me woke up several times through the night as it squeeled. It was nice that there was a rocking chair in the room but there should have had a regular chair by the desk if the second person would like to sit down instead of sitting on the bed. Breakfast was offered for a cost but it should have been included in the price.

The Motel was good, Ownwers were friendly, The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the fridge was good and cold. Interenet was good. Nice to have patio chairs and a table outside the door.

Mark has done fine renovations on the Mountainview Motel, and the room was snug and comfortable. The "On-Demand" hot water takes a little while to deliver but the shower is excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the many new touches to an old landmark.
