Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe lobby smells really bad. The open concept of the room doesn't have a door to the bathroom which is kind of awkward if you're staying with anyone and like privacy in the bathroom.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The location is very close to downtown.

CanadaNothing. I travelled alone so it wasn't an issue - but I did think it was odd that the toilet was not more private.
The location was perfect for our meeting. The room was comfortable and clean.

CanadaI wish that checkout was slightly earlier. A checkout time of 4pm can make planning an early morning arrival difficult. However, this may just be a personal preference!
Incredibly spacious room with beautiful layout and unique design. Friendly and helpful staff. Central location - can't be beat!

AustraliaThe building is an old warehouse conversion, so it's going to be expected to have some unpolished edges compared to a new build hotel, but nothing unexpected or major. As other travellers have mentioned, would love some breakfast options, maybe even a deal with one of the nearby cafes.
Stayed here during a work trip to the city and felt like it was really great value for money. It has no bells and whistles but it offers the most important things: A comfortable bed, a clean room, great location, friendly staff. The converted warehouse has a very cool vibe to it and the room I was in was a great size. It's also a smaller hotel so I greatly enjoyed the peace and quiet - not thousands of guests rushing between facilities. It's becoming my new regular hotel for my mid-week work visits to Toronto.

All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and the food was delicious. Room was clean. The only negative thing for us was that there was no coffee maker in the room and we had to leave early before the coffee was ready in the morning.

United States of AmericaNo refrigerator in the room; only one chair in the room, no couch or sofa in the room.
I like this hotel, I would stay there again. It is typical of a city location, no on-site parking, but the parking garage is 2 blocks away. The room was clean and comfortable, but somewhat minimal in its amenities, which was fine for me because I didn't spend much time in the room (and you get what you pay for, it was relatively inexpensive). It is adjacent to Toronto's Chinatown, and adjacent to Toronto's wonderful system of streetcars, buses and subways, making getting from here to there incredibly simple, and I left my car in the parking garage. Strong Wifi. Bar in the lobby. This is an old brick building, refurbished to hotel space, the rooms show exposed brick and wood beams (which I find charming), and the bathroom seems brand new and modern.

United States of AmericaThe HVAC unit was loud, and the unit would click when the fan turned on and off. While everything was clean and well kept, things like the tile in the shower, and the bed could use a little updating. Nothing too bad but just a little worn.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the location was amazing. The room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again when needing to stay in Toronto

United KingdomOnly negative is the price. Yes, it's Toronto but it's still a lot of money for a 3 star (?) hotel.
Lovely little hotel with a really convenient location. Good for solo travellers as it's easy to find and on a main street. Staff were super friendly. Room was big, TV was good quality, bed comfy, and a huge bathroom.

CanadaI was a little confused when I walked in because the rooms are actually above the restaurant. You can find the check in desk under the stairs & the elevator to the right of the stairs. Even though I was a little thrown off at first, it was no big deal because after my stay I can appreciate the simplicity & unpretentious style of the place. I did have to wait 10 -15 mins during check in however they offered me late check out as compensation!
Stylish rooms / modern & simplistic with exposed brick walls & natural lighting Clean & spacious bathroom Lots of towels Soft fluffy bed with feathery duvet City view

CanadaThe rooms aren't that big, it's ok for a person or a couple. There was only a lamp to illuminate the room at night. The tv did not work but thankfully someone left their netflix logged in so I used it (sorry). There were lots of wires coming out of the tv and the electronic antenna. The door for the bathroom isn't really a door and it kind of gets stuck when you roll it, not very practical if there is someone going for number 2... Breakfast is not included, would have been nice to have a little something other than just coffee, but again, there's plenty of stuff around.
The location is perfect for a tourist. We were at walkable distance of most of the neighbourhoods. There are lots of restaurants, coffeeshops and stores nearby. The staff was friendly. There is an elevator. The rooms were clean, we had enough towels. The bed was confortable with enough pillows. We could change the temperature of the room. We didn't hear much of the people outside and beside our room. If you come by car, there is a good underground parking not too expensive in front of the hotel.

New ZealandIf there had been a food option for breakfast I would have happily have eaten at the restaurant/bar area as it had a really nice feel. There were lot's of excellent options nearby so it was no biggie.
Really happy with this Hotel. It's a fabulous character building that's been respectfully converted to a boutique style hotel. My room was a pleasure to be in and the bathroom was superb, spacious and well appointed. Super friendly people too. I'd happily stay here again if ever I'm back in Toronto.
