Unfortunately there where guests in another room close to mine who where smoking and partying all night so that the smoke came into my room the whole night. The apartment that I stayed in was not as new as the photos appear so that the price of 300 CAD per night seemed a bit overpriced.

Value for money not really there. Probably smallest room for 3 we had on our trip. Did smell a lot like a Dutch coffee shop.

At first sight the general areas does not look the best but in the end we did not have any problems.

Stairs could be challenging for anyone with a very big suitcase. It is only three stories, though, so not a huge climb.

The suites were surprising charming and up-to-date at the same time and the kitchen was quite well-equipped. The immediate street is someone noisy/busy but the room was a great retreat. And it was a surprisingly good value for a suite in a central location. The management was also kind and attentive. Would definitely stay again!

Maybe it was in description, but there is no elevator in the hotel to get to main level. There are 2 flights of steep stairs you have to climb. It was OK for us traveling light, but if you have large suitcases plan ahead. Also while it is on the border of Quartier des spectateurs, the block its on is sketchy with a lot of homeless people, so frankly we did not feel very safe coming back to the hotel in the evening, nor going to have breakfast across the street. The street is pretty dirty too.

Room was very spacious (we had 2 bedroom suite). Beds were comfortable. Little kitchen would make a family stay very convenient. Bathroom was small but clean and updated. Blackout curtains were helpful. There is even a small balcony (we did not use). Pros of location is its an easy walk from a metro station to get to/from airport, and a short (15 min) walk to Old Town. The street, though looks wide, was very quiet at night. (see cons below).

We enjoy this hotel, but we booked a separate room elsewhere for my older relatives because the stairs are quite steep and there is no elevator access.

This is a delightful hotel with exceptionally friendly staff.

Spacious 2 room apartment, great large bed, very friendly staff, practical bathroom, sufficient cooking facilities. Located between old town, La Plateau and Mont Real, all 20-25 minutes walk. Great breakfast across the street at St Barth.

Parking in the alley a bit scary, but there was always a space for us. Many stairs to climb up to the hotel. Ok for us, but not if you have mobility issues.

Turgay was amazing. So friendly and helpful. Our studio was lovely. Almost like staying in Europe. Loblaws 3 door down. Great location and parking if you have a car.
