The sheets didn't fit the bed, the mattress was hard and old, the light switches didn't work, the coffee maker was missing the tray to put the coffee in.

We were not expecting a spartan, though utilitarian unit. There was no place to hang our garment bag. Also, the drip coffee maker was missing the drip basket and there were stains on the sofa.

Had to fix my own tv. Upkeep on outside was not that great. Tennats outside smoking dope and drinking on the walkway. Had my kid with me so made it an uneasy trip

Absolutely filthy room , holes in the walls and broken items, lousy pillows, no tv or lamps in the bedroom and no coffee machine.

Well it was beside cherry lane… and it had a room available. Front staff was wonderful.

breakfast was not provided as advertised. The TV did not work. The main room was plain and bare (a couch, a small end table desk type, a single chair), the lamp did not work, some renovations were still not completed. The main foyer/reception is out dated and in need of repairs would not recommend it and not up to the Super 8 standards seen at other hotels

Facilities generally were in disrepair and unkempt.

No breakfast available Rooms very dated, no face cloths in room. Went to office to get one and was told there were none available as order hadn’t showed up. Staff was pleasant though.

The motel is very run down. The location attracts ladies of the night and security on site is very poor. not happy with this location

The property is difficult to access due to road barriers; it was easier to get in & out once they opened up the gate by the alley (so we no longer had to drive south to find a turn around property so we could then go north, which is where family & restaurants are located). Rooms are in the process of upgrades, which is great, but those doing the work are careless (paint all over the floor, etc.) No place to hang clothes in the 2nd unit we were in. No one seems to dust things such as blinds & radiators. The beaches in Penticton are Skaha & Okanagan Lake, so the question 2 down does not make sense.

Staff were, by & large, VERY helpful. I have difficulty with stairs these days, & they transferred us to the lower floor the next day after we checked in, when another room became available. This room had a full sized fridge! Breakfast was Tim cards, which is a nice touch. Walking distance to malls & a thrift store, all of which were across the streets bordering the motel.

the exterior of the hotel was very dirty and shabby , the room was never cleaned for the four days we stayed there, we had to ask for clean towels and to have the garbage taken away, was told to take our own garbage can to the dumpster an empty it also did not receive any coffee or shampoo after the first day. only one chair in the room

The shower was TEPID! Budget accommodation can be no-frills and yet still exactly what you need as long as the bed is comfortable, and the shower is hot! This hotel had the first, but not the second!

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and despite being on the main drag in Penticton, the hotel was very quiet at night. Perfect location for us - very close to family we were visiting and right across from the mall. The hotel is being updated a bit, but it's still very no-frills - a good budget option.

Hotel did not return my deposit to my credit card. I am furious, we left the room in good condition and were only there for one night. They charged me 150 deposit and I never got the money back I would like them to return my deposit money ASAP
