100+ year old property but well maintained. Lots of dated things, but they suit the antique style of the property.

Breakfast was a bonus as we didn’t know it was included. It was dry cereal, toast, juice and coffee. Location was right downtown and walking distance to everything we needed

I didn't find any To-Go cups for coffee in the morning. My car is fairly low with a trailer hitch on the back which scraped the sidewalk on the way out of the parking lot due to a dip as you enter the roadway.

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of downtown Sydney. 100ft from Governor's Pub in one direction and 100ft from Seven by Seven in the other.

Lots of construction in the area made it a little bit hard to get to the location and was a bit noisy during the day, but that’s nothing the hotel can help!

We were greeted warmly on arrival by Bonnie. The inn is a charming older building and our room was immaculate and comfy. The bathroom was lovely and the water pressure for the shower was amazing. We had a microwave and fridge in our room, too. It’s in a great spot right on the waterfront and walking distance from lots of restaurants and shops. [Special shout out to restaurant 7 By 7 around the corner - one of the best meals I’ve had in a good while.] We thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The building is a bit tired but I can see that they are working to upgrade and the customer service makes up for it. NO real issues.

Tremendous value for money. Terrific customer service. Met all my needs. It is centrally located and within easy walking distance to restaurants and tourist sites on the waterfront. Linda is amazing.

Does not look very impressive from the outside. Things got better as time went on. Everything was done for us that could be done to accommodate us.we were booked in a room upstairs but because we had a mobility issue, we were given a larger room downstairs at no extra charge.

Only a minor point. I sai I was arriving at the airport from Montréal at 4 and then would get a taxi to the inn. Unfortunately upon arrival there was nobody there but after an hour I was able to get into my room.

Stayed one night for our anniversary. A very nice stay - friendly staff, easy check in. An older building, the floors are on a bit of an angle but the place is very well maintained and very clean... a lot like staying in your Granny's house. I would certainly recommend it over the chain hotels, as it has charm and is comfy and clean. Excellent location as well.

This is a beautiful, historic property in an excellent location close to the boardwalk, Big Fiddle, etc. Our room was large and included a lovely sleigh bed, large armoire, desk, two big, comfy leather chairs, great internet, fridge, and microwave. The two staff members were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to try for supper. We also really appreciated having the opportunity to do some laundry as we had been on the road for awhile.

I like slightly better personal room security. There was no inner padlock for the room. It may be relatively rare but on occasion in places without this feature, I have had unwelcome walking in by cleaning staff. Always best practices to ensure a renters privacy.

Very friendly accommodating staff. Centrally located and good overall. Still a tiny bit pricey but that is the market right now.
